Just been away for a weekend with a male friend. During one conversation we got on about sex somehow, and he said he thought anything less than a two hour session is a waste of time.

Good for him I suppose, but AIBU to think the majority of people would find this far too long and start planning their dinner?

Before anyone says he’s trying to impress me or get me into bed, he’s not.

Well yes, if all sex consists of is one (or no) orgasm and then PIV for ages, I can see why many women wouldn't be interested in that.

I could just be out of step with a lot of women on this thread, mind - I would not have wanted to spend hours and hours in lovemaking sessions when my children were little/I was exhausted. They're grown up now and my time is my own.

That's my preference as I lose interest after.

Depends on how good they both are and how much they enjoy it. When its good and fun you hardly notice the time. When its crap, even 5 minutes is too long.

Okay. I didn’t realise some people didn’t do their washing on work days. Each to their own.

Obviously it doesn't have to be two hours non stop? Showering together, cuddling & fooling around, watching porn, toys, oral, the deed plus more, afterplay, round two perhaps? cuddles. Throw in snack or some fruit to keep energy levels up.
That could be a very pleasant afternoon or evening (I'm not into morning sex).
I doubt even in his early 20s my BF would've been up for two hours nonstop athletic penetration! Slow and steady perhaps now.
