Is it socially acceptable to not wear a bra in public?

Is this genuinely unacceptable?… I know some people wear bras because they have to. But I don’t have to as they’re frickin tiny.

I hate wearing one, and often wear a bralet/crop top type one. But in work I wear a normal padded one as I don’t want my nips poking through…. But is this an unnecessary thought process?

Is it okay to not wear a padded bra in the work place, and is it okay to not wear a bra at all in public?

I obvs have a top on!

At 64 my (not small) boobs are not droopy, I lift weights and use the chest press at the gym to tone the muscles that hold them up. But I wear bralettes or soft cup bras because otherwise they wobble like recently set jellies when I walk around. I do go braless around the house in this weather.

Yabu to ask such a dumb question,

Kindly no one gives a fuck what you do.

And whatever shape or size your body, a bra is optional. To suggest “you” don’t have to due to size is frankly ridiculous.

this thread says otherwise.

Some women find it more comfortable to wear one due to size, so for them it isn't ridiculous.

This is a fascinating read.
I always thought one of the joys of smaller boobs was not having to wear a bra all the time. Lots of celebrities don't?
I've always had bigger boobs. Since having kids if I don't wear a bra they seem to sort of wander around of their own accord, so I couldn't go out braless. I wear padded bra's so I don't have to check if my nipples are pointing in the same direction.

I am obviously not a professional or in a client facing position though, so not up to date on office nipple etiquette.
Bra is the first thing to come off when I get home though so I am biased and wish society accepted free range boobs.

It not that I require to wear one, I feel like I have to for social constraints

Was that a reaction to the OP, or just a random noise?
