She doesn't look like that, it's an altered image. You can tell she's had work done, especially her lips, but she doesn't look like that.
As to why, you know why. Women are judged in their appearance far more than men ever are and not allowed to age. It's bad enough for those of us who were never raving beauties to start with; for a woman whose beauty is her currency, it's even worse. Your sense of perspective gets skewed when everyone around you is getting this stuff done and you'd stand out more if you didn't. Unscrupulous practitioners will say and do whatever keeps the money rolling in. And despite all the shite she's getting for how she looks after all that work, I bet anything that if she had aged naturally with little or no work done, she'd get just as much abuse as she does now.
Historically, features that suggested wealth have been widely considered to be desirable even if they aren't objectively beautiful. White skin once suggested you could afford not to have to work in the sun, then a tan suggested you had the money and time to go away on holiday to a hot country. In some circles, it's likely that evidence of surgery and enhancements suggests that you're rich enough to have them done.
