The post that you quoted wasn’t calling that person out for being male (everyone welcome imo). Many of us aren’t judging her at all. I think my original post was whatever floats your boat, she’s happy or similar.

Of course they’re allowed an opinion. The mistake is when they think that people care about that opinion.

No, we’re not. I mean I’m a woman, but I’m not judging another woman on her looks. Women can look however the hell they want.

It’s wild to me that women are so hateful about other women without looking a bit more closely at why women feel they have to be ageless and look a certain way

Why do they do it?

I suspect a combination of too much time on social media, low self-esteem and an avalanche of public scrutiny. I feel sorry for her. I suspect that to many her life looks much more glamorous on the outside than it actually is to live it.

So why call me out when that’s not what I was doing? Lots of women are doing it but I’m not.

I saw someone advertise their beauty business on Facebook and every single woman she used had lip fillers. Not one had their natural lips.

So many women these days look the same. Just look at all the women who went to the Bezos/Sanchez wedding. The Kardashians are morphing into one another!

Then you have the likes of Katie Price who have gone to the extreme.

Yes they all look like clones or dolls. I'm glad to see the real beauties like Kate Moss haven't felt the need to have any enhancements.

I think what is lost in the quest of "insta face" is the homogeneity makes its boring. Individuality is attractive and it's about how a whole face fits together. If you think of all the really good looking famous people they all have some imperfections but it balances out on the whole face. Full lips are attractive but there are attractive people with thin lips, and lip fillers can upset the harmony of your face and emphasise something with the nose or chin etc.

I'm glad to see the real beauties like Kate Moss haven't felt the need to have any enhancements.

I love Kate Moss and think she is an amazing model but she is definitely getting at least some anti ageing tweaks. Granted she isn't going for a new face a la the Kardashians.

I do think it's sad, and indicative of something seriously wrong in some parts of human society, that some women want to look like cartoon sex dolls.

A lot of them develop that dead-behind-the-eyes-look.

Why would any of us judge either way? None of us are remotely impacted, she hasn’t stopped feeding her kids to afford a tweakment. Genuinely no idea why it matters

OK she has married a billionaire, but it was a sad looking wedding, her dress was ridiculous- who puts that many buttons down the front of a wedding dress, their “guests” looked as though they had walked out of a plastic surgery convention via Temu and weren’t actually sure whose wedding they were attending, and the wedding invitation was something an eight year old would put together for a homework assignment. I hope the food at the reception was outstanding because otherwise I can’t see where they spent the money. It looked like a grimly joyless event and I am not sure why anyone would want to celebrate a wedding in such a weird way.

FWIW mumsnet used to pride itself on being a parenting website ‘for parents by parents’. It just happened to be called mumsnet which sent a bunch of people clutching their pearls when fathers joined. How dare men want to talk to women. It’s never been sold as women only.

I’ve seen commentary on social media that the wealthy want to look like they’ve had work done as a status symbol.

They both cheated on their spouses with each other, so they both give me the ick. His ex donates so much to charity and seems wonderful, I was shocked to find out she was married to him 26 years!!
