Please share some good news with me - a little random but life seems a little scary right now and I’ve had a day of bad news and also a lovely headache! I’d love to hear any happy positive news or story’s in your life big or small! to cheer me up so please share good news with me anything at all :)

It took a very little time for a cat-lover to fight back with a "Dogs Are Everywhere" thread. That's all I have because my day's been a nightmare, butu I didn't want to read and run, and also thought I'd highlight that little things can help. :)

Hope you are ok. My good news is the carpet we ordered and paid for last week was out of stock as of this week but the guy in the store offered us another nicer one at no additional cost despite it being almost double the cost of the original one which was in the sale, yayy win!

I have had very bad news today too and also a headache as a result of the shock, but DH had has a lovely, surprise bottle of champagne delivered.

The hedgehog that visits our garden brought her babies along last night. You can't make the world right, but you can cultivate your own garden.

Love this! We have a hedgehog visitor too but no babies, yet anyway :)

I also need good news! Being bullied by my neighbour and her family and it’s giving me daily migraines. Need positivity!

I had my dry socket treated today and it's the first time I haven't been in pain for a week.

I ordered a dress not in my usual style and it fits so well and is so flattering compared to anything else I own it looks like it was tailored for me

So refreshing to see a positive thread. We've had our mortgage offer though today for our dream house. Chuffed.

A young girl I work with had a massive and sudden breakthrough with maths. When she smiled because she understood it, it was like the sun coming out after a storm 🤗

I've been invited to exhibit my art work in a local community gallery in November 😊

My very speech delayed son got a glowing report from his nursery today about how his language is coming along so well and at bedtime tonight he put his arms around my husband and went ‘I love you Daddy’. He’s never said I love you before 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ my heart!!

About 4:00 this afternoon, we realised that the main sewage drain that runs down our (newly laid) drive was over flowing. We called the Water board to be told they'd be here within three days. The smell was awful, and we had plans for the weekend but we're told they work weekends, and could arrive up to 10:00pm, so we were thinking of other options that wouldn't scupper our plans.

Yay 😁😁😁. They've arrived sorted it, and gone. Result.

"Our" hedgehog has also been showing off her hoglets and I've spotted bats again for the first time in about 5 years.

My youngest daughter came back from a long trip yesterday and my son came back from this two week work thing, so last night I had an unexpected dinner and a chat with the two of them. Right now I am planning a dinner with all three my kids for the weekend. My heart is as full as can be and I am almost crying from happiness.

I decided to walk to work this morning. I met a mother walking with her toddler who randomly started hugging my leg and kept saying pretty to me. Her mother told me that normally she cries when strangers talk to her. Made me smile all day

I’m doing the snag list on my new house this week. Getting the keys in less than 2 weeks! Been waiting 40 years to have my own home 🙌

I haven't been in a relationship since Covid times. Had kind given up on it all tbh as I'm over 50 and was making my peace with staying single. However, last week I decided to bite the bullet again and I have a date with a guy tomorrow night who seems really nice, respectful and intelligent. Yay!😁

I just found out series 3 of The Gilded Age has started. Hopefully toddler will stay asleep in his own bed and I can watch episode 1 tonight!

I start my new job on Monday day. I’m a little bit scared but a bigger bit excited- I’ve been unemployed for almost a year but I think/hope/believe this job was worth holding out for. It’s at a foundation that helps pre-schoolers get a better start in life.

Also, my bestie is pregnant at 43, will be 44 by the time the baby is born. She just never met the right partner and then early last year she did and it just all seems to be working out (at breakneck speed). She found out yesterday it will be a little girl.

Sending compassion, hugs and positive vibes to anyone who needs it today or any day.

(and secretly hoping our garden hedgehog shows off some babies one day 🦔 😊)
