What does per capita matter when girls and women’s lives are ruined?

How many women do we see on AIBU being physically abused and coercively controlled by their husbands or partners who are urged to seek help, but so few take the well-meant advice to leave? Every single day.

The people who should be apologising are those responsible for covering it up. In fact, they should be prosecuted for it.

They should be named, shamed, and jailed. In every community.

So, you think if members affiliating to one particular minority group in the UK is responsible for literally almost all of the terrorist attacks in the UK, you don't think it's obvious for senior members of that minority group to come out publicly say "not in our name" ? Knowing full well it's going to cause mass tensions towards that minority group as a result.

Catholics are a minority religion in the UK, yet members of that minority religion bombed the UK for many years. I didn't notice any leaders of that minority group taking responsibility and say "not in our name". I don't remember anyone demanding it either perhaps because they didn't lump every single Catholic together.

No - they are a Nationalist organisation made up primarily of Catholics. Their goals and motivation have absolutely nothing to do with religion . Their goal was a United Ireland - their goal was not to further the cause of Catholicism. They are made up primarily of Catholics because ….

I don’t know any Catholics who would disagree. It’s been a shameful and traumatic time . The more women are involved in church life the better in my opinion.

I'm making a point about members of a religion not being responsible or having to apologise for every atrocity committed by a member of that religion.

We'd have to know all the victims but those are hidden largely because of how society treats victims and racism so we'll never know.

No. I was making a point about religion, therefore I mentioned the religion involved in a terrorist campaign.

The religion was not “involved” in a terrorist campaign. The terrorist campaign was about creating a United Ireland. Sinn Fein is the political wing of the nationalist movement and is more affiliated with left wing / Marxist politics than anything to do with Catholic teaching .
