New neighbour sunbathing in the nude

We moved in to our dream home last month, we have a corner plot with only one direct neighbour who is a (I believe) single man and has always been polite and friendly in our initial conversations.

DH looked out of our bedroom window today to see our neighbour sunbathing completely starkers. He came downstairs to tell me and I couldn’t believe it when I went upstairs and saw for myself.

I want to go round to say something however DH has told me I am being ridiculous and he is on his own property so can go what he wants.

AIBU? I appreciate neighbourly relations but I am absolutely repulsed by this.

As i said above im a big girl plus size i lay in my garden with a bikini on and its a half thong one would you have something to say about me because im out of shape.
Maybe i should go in doors and get dressed because only perfect bodys can sun bathe.

What do you think is going to happen if your kids see a naked man? Particularly when they can only see him from an upstairs window and he's in his own garden.

Really, what will happen? Surely you just say "oh he must want to get a tan all over his body...... let's give him some privacy" or something mundane like that?

It really doesn't matter if he is naked. He's not even looking at or talking to you and your kids.

It’s irrelevant what shape he’s in. He isn’t asserting anything. You are being ridiculous. I would love to swap my power tool mad neighbour for your peaceful sunbathing neighbour.

Do i care not one bit.
She`s in her own home garden and not causing any problems.
Same as going to the beach in hot weather some women might as well walk naked.
None of it bothers me i think well why not good for them.

Im a big girl and i have a much larger bikini lol but i want to show a little cheek off as well and i do.
Skinny fat whatever just enjoy life.

Maybe he’s a naturist. Nothing wrong with that. If there are no red flags of weird behaviour from him then you need to let it go.
I honestly would not have a problem if my neighbour sunbathed nude. Me and DH have got naked in the garden on more than one occasion in summer in the hot tub, outside shower etc.

Not necessarily. Why are you doubling down on this? Your neighbour is not in the wrong, however much you disapprove.
