Yes you can. I used to buy frozen pomegranate seeds in Tesco until they stopped doing them. I then went through a brief period of insanity when I seeded them myself and froze the seeds. I generally ended up with juice all over my face and arms. It was an occasional over enthusiastic seed that resulted in juice on the ceiling that brought me to my senses.

Edited to say I also have a jar of preserved lemons and am hoping for a recipe here that does not involve me seeding a pomegranate.

Well I’m not remotely interested in beauty products. I’m very low maintenance (physically that is!) and I’ve got sensitive skin and sensory issues so I’ve never understood the appeal of “smellies”. I’m also never really interested in new products and prefer to stick with what I know. But there’s something mysterious about this post that keeps drawing me back!

Very jealous of all these stair baskets, I don't have stairs. Do have some cats though who are apparently ok with the single storey life.

For the equally lazy, I bought some ottolenghi sauce in Waitrose the other week. Probably contained preserved lemons.

DH is a dab hand with preserved lemons. But we are out of milk …

V much fancying the beauty box now as the perfumes sound lovely. Hardly ever go into M&S except for knickers and chocolate mousse.

I think of all the retailers that have gone bust over the last twenty years, M&S would be the one most likely to bring the British people out on the streets in protest.

Ive managed to get milk today so Im ok for tea now.

If any of your neighbours have one then you could end up with a Not My Cat in the stair basket .
I wouldn;t have a stair basket at the top step as we have triangular stair treads there and our lovely female cat tumbled down the stairs in a paper bag once , She was unscathed but gave us Evils . Our fault , obvs

We dont have a cat, stair basket, no preserved lemons and definitely no pomegranate seeds in the freezer, I have looked just in case someone slipped some in without me noticing. Don't have a Marks nearby either. I can't decide if I am missing out or not. Had a lovely glass of wine with my tea though so it's not all bad.

I am excited to say that my husband has agreed to drop me at M&S tomorrow while he goes to B&Q.

I have gone through the beauty box with the 16 year old daughter and we have agreed how to split it (if it's in stock that is). I will have the perfumes, hair brush and suntan lotion. She will get everything else but might let me have the one-jar wonder.

I am hoping to buy the big daddy chocolate bar for a fathers day gift too. I feel an obligation to look for preserved lemons.

Until I read this thread last night I had no prior knowledge of this Beauty Bag. Less than 24 hours later I am the proud owner of one.

Mild panic ensued when the beauty department of M&S appeared to be beauty bagless, but I'm happy to announce they were by the till downstairs.

I've ordered some Floral Street perfumes - a sampler set to try out .
Not from M&S as they most likely won't have them , but got direct from Floral Street (with a 15% off )

If I strike lucky with one or two them I;ll re order .

I did try some Shay & Blue in M&S but it smelled like nothing .

I am currently in an M&S cafe having tea before a gig. They don't seem to have the beauty bag. I did convince a woman to buy a top she was trying to decide on. So I've done my bit!

I wouldnt have usually associated the M+S cafe with a pre gig refreshment option

No, that's understandable. But I've not been feeling well so needed something.....solid, not greasy. So, feta cous cous salad, tea, mini choc buttons, cup of water and I've got a bag of crisps for in the queue.

Not allowed to take any food or drink in, so staying hydrated, not breaking the bank, and not dying of e-coli from the ghastly loos is a fine balance!
Off to the queue now, I'll be on my feet til midnight. If I make it!
