To ask what you think of Meghan and Harry's "bump dance" video?

To mark Lilibet's 4th birthday, they've uploaded this video. I think it's cute and fun but the usual haters are out in force.

She clearly has a monitor on under her dress but people are claiming it's a pillow, and people are also claiming it's not possible to dance like that while heavily pregnant (it totally is, if you're in good shape)

Also the horrible comments from men saying she must have got a lot of practice in, giving lap dances on yachts

Don't really know what people's problem is with these two tbh.

My point was that many could possibly benefit from therapy. Is that so different to your point?

The difference is, I dont go out of my way to target individuals on mumsnet. I was talking about celebrities in the States that have bad reputations.

I quoted your post, which is an allowable feature on Mumsnet, because you referenced therapy and as indicated I have thoughts about people benefitting from therapy.

I didn’t target any one individual. My post clearly references people (plural).

Calling people deluded is so 2021

Don’t see how. The word still applies 😂

It wasn't unpleasant. I was stating they will need therapy at some point. They will.

Some people on this thread clearly need therapy. 😂

Yep i get it, i'm and easy target. Well done, maybe i do need therapy. Thankyou for the kindness💋

Why don't you look or are you sticking with mumsnet is the only platform you frequent?

It’s not the only platform I frequent. It’s the only platform where I see anything about H&M. But in any case, it was Mumsnet I was asking whether tH&M are being criticised for obscuring their children’s faces.

Well a quick look on active would say no. I'm not sure what your point is. Again.

I often wonder if those who dislike strangers who have done nothing to them personally but instead base their dislike on stories they have read or heard in the media may benefit from therapy.

I also wonder how many people who casually throw around insults on forums behave the same way when talking to people offline and could also benefit from therapy.

It NEVER ceases to amaze me that some people absolutely refuse to believe that opinions about the pair have been formed by what has come out of H &M mouth. Do come on Aquathest don’t be lazy in your arguing skills. It’s so boring. But it is so wonderful that you recognise that change moments from the supporters of H and M had been very below the belt.

I’ll await the production of a quote attributed to me which states that I “absolutely refuse to believe” any posts in this thread.

Then maybe we could consider this anything close to an argument. Currently, all I have witnessed are inconsistent attempts at put downs. For example one of your numerous posts on show within this thread accused a poster of being passive aggressive when a number of your posts are exactly that. Actually there is probably nothing passive about them at all.

DipsyDee · 07/06/2025 22:08

Do you wear glasses because you seem blind to the comments coming from the supporters and from yourself.

You quote”I often wonder if those who dislike strangers who have done nothing to them personally but instead base their dislike on stories they have read or heard in the media may benefit from therapy.”

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear and at the risk of repeating myself that people have formed opinions on the pair by listening to what h and m have said, They don’t need therapy for having an opinion different to yours. They just have better critical thinking skills. Maybe it’s something you need to look into?

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 07/06/2025 22:12

@DipsyDee respectfully think you should step away from indulging in your dislike of M and H. You don’t really know them and are only reacting to what is fed to you via the media. None of us know what really goes on behind closed doors and disliking people you don’t really know, even if you think you do, is actually slightly unhinged. They are free to post what they want to post and you are free not to engage with any of it. You might actually feel better for it.

Yes and I am free to reply on whatever I want to. You don’t like it then take your own advice and scroll past mine. And as I’ve said before the unhinged comment is so 2021

WillimNot · 07/06/2025 22:22

I personally found it funny.
It comes from a TikTok trend at the time, which isn't reported in the press so I think context is everything, rather than people just thinking they made it up.

I think they're genuine but then I'm not of the opinion that they're evil and should be slagged for everything.

Alittlemoreconversationplease · 07/06/2025 22:22

It's really American, and I don't mean that as an insult. Just seems to be a trend American mums are really into when heavily pregnant so I can see why she remembers it fondly now!

She's a much better dancer than I expected too, and looks just absolutely radiant and beautiful I think- I think it shows how much tension she is always suppressing in her public image, giving her a kind of artificial beauty pageant vibe sometimes. In contrast in this video she looks just truly beautiful.

Yes I think she is really misjudged in public. She comes across as quite controlling but I think this is a nervous response to her being aware of the intense scrutiny on her.

Still waiting for the production of the quote that states “I refuse to believe”

And now to add to that, could you point to where I said I was a supporter of anyone on this thread.

The moment you have to stoop to insults it’s a clear indication of losing an ‘argument’ There’s no critical thinking involved there.

Because we clearly do not think in same way, you keep making the mistake of making assumptions of my behalf.

Why would I need a source for my own thoughts?

So no proof on an inflammatory comment? Now why aren’t I surprised. Anyway as fun as this is I’m off to watch The Rookie. It’s fab
