To ask what you think of Meghan and Harry's "bump dance" video?

To mark Lilibet's 4th birthday, they've uploaded this video. I think it's cute and fun but the usual haters are out in force.

She clearly has a monitor on under her dress but people are claiming it's a pillow, and people are also claiming it's not possible to dance like that while heavily pregnant (it totally is, if you're in good shape)

Also the horrible comments from men saying she must have got a lot of practice in, giving lap dances on yachts

Don't really know what people's problem is with these two tbh.

It set my teeth on edge. It was utterly cringe.

I felt embarrassed for her. I felt embarrassed for both of them. It's difficult to imagine why they would release that spectacle for public consumption other than the usual motive:
"Look at me. Look at me. Look at me."

I pity their kids.

So do I! They have no thought for the future of those poor children.

Ooh - but they've hurt a lot of people in the past few years!

And speak for yourself - the few seconds of that video that I saw definitely hurt my eyes and my sense of aesthetics. I wish I could un-see it...

There’s so much out in the world at the moment to hate, wars, inequality, poverty, dangerous orange men in power to name but a few. Some of you should direct all this anger towards these things and not a couple sharing an innocuous video of some dancing.

We can be concerned about hate, wars, inequality, poverty and 'orange men' while still saying this clip is utterly cringeworthy. I'm able to multi task it isn't one thought a day.

One of the joys of thinking they are all universally awful is that you can enjoy all the shenanigans as a spectator sport. The Cambridges have much better clothes to look at but are much duller. The Sussexes generally wear much duller clothes but do more bizarre things to look at. Both generate andmiration and opprobrium out of proportion to their behaviour. It all adds to the gaiety of nations.

Genuinely, this is a horrible thread. Created for the best reasons and I wholeheartedly support the OP for doing so.
I met Harry in Afghanistan and he was a brilliant person. Kind, honest, funny, clever and although I out-ranked him, he clearly behaved in a similar fashion to all of the people he had under his command.
This bitter cruelty is disappointing.

This couple are not constantly in my face, for one. As far as I know nobody's still talking about them and I'd be hard-pushed to find an outlet in which to read about them. They are long gone. Quite easy to ignore topics that don't interest you: they just disappear into the cyber-ether. It doesn't require effort.

The only time I ever see mention of this couple is when people persist in posting it on AIBU instead of its tedious designated MN board. Bullying is an ugly look. I have no desire to witness it.

Yep, me too. As I said earlier, I used to get some stuff about them on X, but now I’ve ditched Elon, the only place I hear anything about them is when I click on a thread on here. Which I often do because I am a a glutton for gossip!

The people who love the royals (whichever ones) are as weird as the people who hate them. I'd ditch of the lot of them, partly because they're anachronism, but also because they can't even seem to get being an anachronism right any more. If we must have royalty, they could at least show a little dignity by largely shutting up, looking a bit stately and waving, instead of courting tabloid gossip and bitching about each other. And twerking, apparently.

I would happily do away with the royal family too but H&M are not working Royals anymore so they can do what they want.

Opinions are not disgust and everyone is entitled to one whether you agree or not

I'm not full of disgust for them at all, I just find them ridiculous and a mass of contradictions. Entertaining for all the wrong reasons.
