To ask what you think of Meghan and Harry's "bump dance" video?

To mark Lilibet's 4th birthday, they've uploaded this video. I think it's cute and fun but the usual haters are out in force.

She clearly has a monitor on under her dress but people are claiming it's a pillow, and people are also claiming it's not possible to dance like that while heavily pregnant (it totally is, if you're in good shape)

Also the horrible comments from men saying she must have got a lot of practice in, giving lap dances on yachts

Don't really know what people's problem is with these two tbh.

They look happy.

I didn't know baby bump dancing was a thing though

Not true you can not comment as you wish. Not all threads work in that way unless you have other intentions. Not everyone who comes on the internet wants a slanging match. Goading particular posters who are easily wound up is not in the spirit of Mumsnet.

Of course all posts work this way. I’m sure you would have posted on other threads about Harry and Megan as that is how they work. And to say I was goading someone who easily gets wound-up is nonsense. That is not an excuse for certain behaviours. It’s not and it is NEVER okay to allow people to behave in a certain way and use the excuse of they get just get wound up which is what you have just said. That is how bullying continues. People can and do disagree with people’s opinion but if you can’t maintain a respectful discourse mumsnet maybe not the place because m pretty sure belittling and bullying behaviour is against mumsnet rules regardless if people get wound up

Yes, I agree, they do look happy and excited and it's nice to see their playful side in this vid

You are a one!

I am on my phone, that's why I replied, but not as quickly as you who replied to me within minutes!

Now you have me laughing....triggered?! 🤣

If you don't like my posts, don't read them or report them if you think they break guidelines!
I will take you saying you find me interesting as a compliment though! Cheers! 🥂🍺

They look as always like they are putting on a show. A bad show granted.
Wanging on about evil intrusive social media one minute then posting their clunky dance moves the next Confused.

Yes?

What's your point?

My point is people are responding. And you are arguing with those responses.

All posters want us a respectful conversation about M&H in a positive manner. Can you not accept that? This thread is not about how DipsyDee feels. This is a discussion about a video on twerking.

You can scroll along and ignore if any posts upset you you don't have to answer each one. This thread is about a happy couple twerking and dancing. I don't see the outrage.

Just like what you have done in responding to me? You could have taken your own advise and simply scrolled past?

MightAsWellBeGretel · 06/06/2025 16:23

Exhibtionist bullshit is what I think of it.

Janiie · 06/06/2025 16:24

'This thread is about a happy couple twerking and dancing. I don't see the outrage.'

Well other people see an attention seeking pair of celebs oversharing what should be a private moment. Maybe at a stretch for family and friends but not for the whole world surely. They need to exesice a bit of common sense. Not that that will ever happen.

deeahgwitch · 06/06/2025 16:31

Are these the pair who were spouting on about privacy. 🙄

That's a negative attitude to have. How does a twerk turn negative?
You don't have to look if the video upsets you.

I do wonder how many times those that dislike the couple have actually watched the footage, possibly lots!
I've only seen a few seconds with them both dancing, they looked happy and relaxed.

My DD was rolling round on a gym ball watching an Arsenal match whilst in labour, each to their own!

Orderofthephoenixparody · 06/06/2025 17:00

There's a lot of hate and we all know where hate can lead to. All they are doing is dancing Americans can twerk. To all the haters stay in your lane and stick to what you know 'morris dancing' 🤣

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 06/06/2025 17:10

Harry and Meghan are one terrible accident away from being on the throne. There's nothing wrong with the video for their own private use - if they like to have footage of themselves behaving like twats, that's their look out. However I do think that, given their position, it's just awful to release it publicly - they must be trying to provoke KC into some sort of confrontation or response. Imagine the possibility of having someone on the throne who has voluntarily shown the world a video of themselves looking like they are pooing on the floor, with their skirt hoicked up.

IsawwhatIsaw · 06/06/2025 17:19

I’m not interested.
And considering they’ve left the uk, the number of stories about them still every day is crazy. They’re not relevant. Suppose it fills column inches?

Janiie · 06/06/2025 17:26

'My DD was rolling round on a gym ball watching an Arsenal match whilst in labour, each to their own!'

If she was a celeb always waaah'ing about intrusion, scrutiny and evil social media would you have advised her not to post such a personal clip on said evil social media. Perhaps keep for family and friends not everyone?

CurlewKate · 06/06/2025 17:33

I don t think it’s twerking, is it? I thought twerking involved the bottom?

Haha she isn't famous, no one would be interested!
