Dyslexia can significantly impact word selection in both speaking and writing.

I wish you all the very best wannabewitch and many thanks for your input - at all times interesting and valuable, to me at least.

Just seen the doxing comment. Never even occurred to me. I was referring to articles that are on the Internet and the links have been posted on 4 threads.

Why do you always think it is about you? I hate to break it you you but as far as I am concerned you and the other posters are unremarkable and why you think I would be interested you is beyond me.

I have reported you both as I don't take kindly to implied threats.

Reported me for what exactly -disagreeing with you?

You can see who was reported because mumsnet deleted their threads as I don't take kindly to implied threats.

You were not reported.

So ridiculous that one has to see the funny side.

You may find implied threats funny but I don't and nor did Mumsnet

What nonsense. It's the late Saturday shift at MN and it was you who clearly threatened other posters, not vice versa. You said it was risky to acknowledge that one was a doctor online and then said something about analysing posts. So a poster queried that.

MN deleted without having any time to look at what was said - just a knee jerk response.

If they'd read your posts together they'd see that what you said was inappropriate (offensive) not what we said (defensive).

Not that I mind, I couldn't care less.

It is risky to say you are a doctor online as you need to strictly adherev to GMC Guidelines.

How is that a threat?

https://www.gmc-uk.org/professional-standards/the-professional-standards/using-social-media-as-a-medical-professional/using-social-media-as-a-medical-professional

Of course I am going to look at posts that have Internet links regarding how the UK got in this mess. I am asking for an investigation.

Why would you think it included you? You are an insignifcant poster on MN not a politician.

It is not my problem if you took that the wrong way. But accusing me of a criminal offence is beyond normal behaviour.

OP posts:
Sevillian · 21/06/2025 23:25

I suggest you get a bit of a grip on reality OP. The other poster merely said in reply to your post that acknowledging that one was a doctor online was not an offence but that doxing was an offence. No-one at all accused you of anything. Your own tone was arguably threatening that's all. I agreed that doxing isn't on. Literally just that. MN didn't read around, clearly.

Sevillian · 21/06/2025 23:32

How is that a threat?

What you said could easily be interpreted as a threat (your posting that it was unwise to say you're a doctor coupled with you saying you intended to analyse posts), since MN is an anonymous forum. So unless a third party posts identifying info there really is no compromise of professional standards. The two things you said, read together, certainly suggested a threat.

Sevillian · 21/06/2025 23:33

And all you received in return was a gentle reminder that it is not ok to post identifying info.

You both accused me of a criminal offence online. I will not tolerate that.

I don't need to get a grip of reality. You crossed a line and got reported.

What arecyou talking about? What reminder? I have never posted identifiable information online. How could I? Thankfully I don't know any of you.

Absolutely no-one at all accused you of anything. After you said it was risky to say one was a doctor online and then you said you would analyse posts, two posters said that posting identifying info would not be ok.

You're both misrepresenting and going massively over the top. Your posts and ours are there for MN to read, if needs be.

Sevillian · 21/06/2025 23:53

I also think you need to calm down. This really isn't a big deal - there's no need to get so wound up. You posted something not very smart, possibly unintentionally. There are no major repercussions. As I said, I personally couldn't care less that MN didn't read properly although I can't answer for the first poster, obviously. But I'm completely happy just to let it go. Maybe just be a bit more careful going forward so that people don't think you're issuing threats.

I honestly can’t imagine what must be going on for OP to have to spend several days pretty much constantly on this thread, arguing with doctors about the medical profession (despite not being one herself).

Then, quite bizarrely, saying it’s not safe to disclose you’re a doctor online?

I feel quite sorry for her.

How do you know I am not a doctor? Women can be mothers and doctors. Or do you think I am not clever enough?

I am sensible enough to not disclose my profession just like both of you. I assume you must be doctors from your posts but dont really care.

Perhaps I have a broken bone so have a lot of time on my hands...I don't need your pity I have a very full and happy life but I have time to try to do something about this injustice since 2019.

I am now asking both of you to not direct any posts to me. I will not be answering them and will report all that I believe are derogatory or inappropriate.

Being accused of a criminal offence is totally unacceptable on a public forum and I want you both to leave me alone from now on. I have contacted mumsnet with the same request.

Yes, as evidenced by the other doctors who are presumably mothers on this thread.

are you a doctor?

Well quite. Genuinely a bit concerned. Hence my suggestion that she calms down a bit and that this is not any sort of a deal.

I guess the thread hasn't gone as she hoped, that other posters are whipping her up, and that it's all a bit much.

It's not a troll thread. A number of posters have name changed multiple times to discredit the OP and to make out there is a lot more support for their views than is actually the case. To those posters, you seem way overinvested in these threads. The angry IMGs among you lot shouldn't be taking it out on the OP. You are undermining the interests of other IMGs who understand and support the issue of prioritisation of UK graduates. They don't want you fighting their corner. In any case, I am not sure you lot care about IMGs overall. You are just trying to protect your own vested interests and it is quite low of you to resort to bullying the OP.
