For breakfast, I had a Granny Smith apple slices with crunchy peanut butter.

For lunch, I had Wagamama’s chicken teriyaki donburi. It came with white rice, shredded carrots, pea shoots, edamame, spring onion and sesame seeds. I had a Fab ice lolly afterwards too.

Now I’m thinking about what to have for dinner 🫣

What have you eaten today?

Snackpocket · 01/06/2025 17:03

A homemade sausage and egg McMuffin followed by the last slice of my birthday cake for breakfast.

A cheese string, then a bowl of leftover salad from yesterday’s bbq with olives, coleslaw and beetroot salad. Plus the dregs of a bag of tortilla chips. A handful of mini Reese’s peanut butter cups.

Crosta and mollica Stromboli pizza for tea.

Not the best day but it was my birthday Friday so dragging the treats out!

LogicalBlodge · 01/06/2025 17:13

Overnight oats
Eggs on toast
Sausage and prawn new potato salad
Dinner is chicken in parma ham with lentils and veg

Inextremis · 01/06/2025 17:18

Two mini avocados with prawns and Marie Rose sauce for breakfast. A quarter of a Camembert with 7 cherry tomatoes for lunch, and I'm about to have roasted Cajun chicken thighs with a Caesar salad, minus the croutons. I'm eating low-carb, but not ultra-low-carb; I'm just avoiding starchy foods.

MrsDoylesLastTeabag · 01/06/2025 17:19

Massive bowl of café au lait and a smoothie made of bananas, strawberries, blueberries, almond milk.

Ryvita thins with home-made mushroom pâté and some very salty dried Kalamata olives.

Two glasses of Champagne with floating strawberries.

I'm now prepping: confit duck leg with a bean stew and a mini garlic baguette.

I treat myself at weekends :)

Hoppinggreen · 01/06/2025 17:22

I had greeek yogurt with strawberries and honey
A piece of sourdough with butter and marmite
Lamb Massman curry
Couple of pieces of Tony Chocoloney
Can of diet coke

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 01/06/2025 17:23

A full English breakfast and a chocolate brownie Shock
Unusually unheathy for me! I've been away for the weekend and have had a loooong train journey home today. I had a big breakfast as I knew I probably wouldn't get lunch. I'm gluten and dairy free, so grabbing lunch on the go tends to be a bit tricky! Hopefully dh has planned something with some vegetable content for dinner!

funinthesun19 · 01/06/2025 17:24

No breakfast

Tuna and cucumber sandwich. 2 bags of crisps.

Chicken tagliatelle and garlic bread

Strawberries and grapes

Allthebrightplaces · 01/06/2025 17:25

Becky Excell's Waffles, with berries and maple syrup
Gluten free roll with beef and tomato, banana, and chocolate
Dinner is satay chicken curry with rice

I'll more than likely have more chocolate and cup of decaff tea before bed

blizymitzy · 01/06/2025 17:25

I love these threads !

sour dough toast with butter and bovril

crispy duck in pancakes with spring onions and cucumber
bit of dd’s rocky road

dinner will be Greek salad if anyone is hungry but the duck was incredibly filling at lunch.

3x cappuccino

abracadabra1980 · 01/06/2025 17:32

Swig of fresh orange juice, tea with milk, two slices of toast with Lurpak, Half a box of M&S marmite swirls, Brie, peanuts, yellow tomatoes and a glass of Merlot, two Morrisons latte ice lollies, tea. I'm a snacker 🤣

mondaytosunday · 01/06/2025 17:33

For late breakfast I had a slice of seeded bread (toasted), avocado, egg, 50gr smoked salmon and some leftover homemade coleslaw from last nights dinner.
Then, as it’s Sunday, had an almond croissant and tea - this in lieu of lunch.
Coming up to dinner now and think I’ll have coconut and ginger chicken with rice and veggies, some wine and a yet to be decided dessert (like a slice of Battenberg or biscuits).
My danger zone is a couple hours after dinner when sweet treats (or savoury, depending) start calling out to me. Last night I had half a ham and spinach sandwich at 2am!

LadyFooFooFrankentits · 01/06/2025 17:34

Bannock with butter and marmalade and decaf coffee
Fruit cake slice and another coffee
An apple
Just working up to making tea

JohnnyLuLus · 01/06/2025 17:40

Peanut Nakd bar
Turmeric and Ginger oat milk
2 poppadoms
Bowl of grapes

Not sure what I'll have for dinner, maybe halloumi with some kind of salad or couscous.

DontTouchRoach · 01/06/2025 17:47

I had two portions of Greek yogurt with honey, raisins and coconut. It was technically breakfast but I ate it at about 1.30pm. I’ve also had a Penguin and a banana and six cups of tea. We’re going out for dinner later to a local Italian place; no idea what I’ll order.

CatteryCatz · 03/06/2025 20:19

Today, I had granola with Greek style yogurt for breakfast. I added strawberries and raisins to it.

Then had a packet of crisps for lunch.

For dinner, we had (shop bought) pizza, with a salad (lettuce, spinach and cucumber).

ooh love a food thread!

B: Slice of seeded toast with peanut butter and jam
L: Left over sausage casserole from last night, with some tinned potatoes fried in the airfryer and will have some melon for pudding
D: Not sure, it's book club and it falls awkwardly, so I'll probably just have some fruit and yogurt or weetabix before I head out!
