You can mix and match the offers. Can freeze the meat! People often don’t understand that you can mix n match the stuff on offer, providing it’s on the same X for £Y. Iceland, you can buy for example a block of cheese, a bag of chicken strips and a bag of frozen fish for £10 as all had 3 for £10.
When have the wine offer 6 or more and get 25% off, 85% of customers buy all the same wine. I was buying 6 myself after work and a customer screamed at me saying “you won’t get your 25% off”. I showed him the receipt and discount applied. With the wine offer, you get 25% off the total amount. So wine adds to £42. 25% off that is £10.50. So wine costs £31.50
The Lidl I use has moved things about last month. Only things not moved are bakery, the non chilled fruit (bananas, pears, oranges etc) and milk.
For example, the Swiss rolls, filled crepes are next to the scotch pancakes, scones which are next to the bread, Frozen section which used to be backing to the last row of chillers is now the far end of the store. Meat, fish and non meat alternatives were opposite the non chilled veg, now along the back wall in the reverse order to when it was in the old place. That’s where the sauces, tinned vegetables/pulses, pasta, rice etc was
Eggs are further down the same aisle as I originally started the thread about eggs
