To ask which celebrities would be really annoying to be married to?

Inspired by DS obsession with Steve Backshall.

He would be off round the world "too busy to do childcare darling", would come home reeking of bar poo, and would insist on taking the children to play with venomous snakes "it won't hurt them if they don't bother it".

I have been following this thread but not commenting. Agree with many posters, especially re Keir Starmer, Joe Swash, David Tennant and Jeremy Clarkson. But I just realised I have an absolute stand-out one: James 'Arg' Argent.

Jamie Oliver. I’m willing to believe he’s a nice bloke and a loving husband but he must be really annoying to live with.

I’m with you on both those points. Not only shaggable but appears to be morally decent and not annoying, if you find the conspiracy theory stuff acceptable.

I love him usually. but I saw him on some red carpet video and he .had some thigh high.boots on and it really put .me off I think it was the "ick" !

To be honest, most of them. I find most modern day slebs really self obsessed and self important, and that's the kind of personality I really detest.

I like quieter people so really wouldn't get on with many, if any, of our current crop of slebs.

I don't even like watching most of them on TV, so there's no way I'd ever marry one.

Oh god, yes she's awful. Her whole celebrity is based on looks and clothes, I detect very little soul or individual personality there.

Steve Backshall is married to Helen Glover who is from near where we live - we often see him on the local beach with his family, and once my husband and I saw him there with all three (really young) kids on his own because his wife was abroad competing in the olympics, so I feel as though he must be a hands-on dad, since she has a career too… he was also super-lovely once in agreeing to have a picture with my little boy who was obsessed with him at the time :)
