Sharing towels???

Inspired by another thread, do people actually have family towels that they share? This seems absolutely revolting to me 🤢

YABU - sharing towels is normal
YANBU - eww, everyone should have their own towel.

I feel like I’m an outlier here because we all keep our own towels until they’re washed, no communal “pick any towel from the rail” sharing. But this is mostly because it enables us to wait a good week between towel washes - everyone is happier using their “own” 6-days-old towel than someone else’s. It also means we all look after our own towels and hang them up nicely cos it’s on us if we’ve left it all crumply so it doesn’t dry out. No one just heads off to get a new one and leaves the old ones all over the place - we all just keep using them till we remember to put them in the wash and distribute a new batch.

We do the same. No-one died.

🤢🤢🤢 Never have done.. never will.
Always clean towel every day too.
Nothing as awful as having a lovely shower.. feeling great then using a towel from day before.
🤢

Guess you change your bedding daily too 🤢🤢🤢
and wash your sofa cushions weekly 🤢🤢🤢
and please tell me you don’t wear shoes in the house 🤢🤢🤢

Totally off topic but what's with the multitude of question marks, I'm seeing this everywhere at the moment and it makes questions seem really aggressive!

As you were 😆

I pushed the kids out my vagina, sharing towels is not a worry for me.

We have a few hanging up on the bannister and I just grab a dry one. Then I wash them each week.

Wait till you hear we all share bath water too 🤣

i might change my mind when they’re teenagers but they’re only small!

Sharing bathwater turns my stomach. I don't know how people can do it. All those microscopic bits of other people's shit from the anus, pubic hairs and so on. especially little kids who will piss in the bath secretly thinking it's funny.

All towels are communal as in you go and get a clean one from airing cupboard - use it and keep hold of it until you decide it needs washing!
DP is a one use person, DS and I will use 2-3 times before washing
Hand towel and tea towel in kitchen are a free for all though
