Just sharing that it was this thread that sent me to a podcast that several of us agree to be very good and not at all how he’s been described in this thread. To be fair you seem unusually highly strung about the subject already, I didn’t feel the need to wind you up any further.

It wasn't even directed at women, or said about women.

Grow some skin - you're allowed to not find it funny, you're not allowed to label him as racist or misogynistic until he does something that is actually racist or misogynistic.

Ive had plenty of colleagues over the years of both sexes who faff about pretending to be helpless in order to get someone else to do their work!

Horrible to see people thinking racism is OK against some races.

He can be quite entertaining but I don't like his politics, and he seems very smug. However, I expect this was just a joke - though not a very funny, or original, one. If he actually meant this, it's up to his wife to put him right on this.
