Are you 12? My 16yr old could extrapolate out from how changing the meaning of a word to something incorrect and offensive would cause the people the word refers to to feel unable to use it. Except that every single person in the group who said, "Thank you! I'm not a woman!" was in fact a woman.

There is absolutely nothing to stop you funding and supporting whatever causes, groups etc you wish.

It's called the truth. Males ARE "other" than women. If a category for males, or females, is a "silo", then so is any category. The whole point of categories is that they exclude things that aren't in them.

We have age, disability and weight categories in sport, we have height categories for fairground rides, we have age categories for voting, buying alcohol, and on and on. Presumably you think it's fair for those categories to maintain their integrity – and a female category is no different. There is no actual evidence that a male has ever been a woman or become a woman. None. Twisting the definitions of words doesn't change that.

As for "outing", that suggests you understand that a TW is not really a woman. Otherwise how would "outing" be possible?

As a result of this judgement, we have established clearly what "women's victim groups" are, and we can ensure that males can't encroach on and undermine them.

Money shouldn't have needed to be spent on this fight, but it did, and we can now ensure that we can claw back some of those services and rights that women have fought for.

Various funding bodies will not fund single sex womens groups and will only provide funds for trans inclusive services.

There's a legal case regarding the lack of women only rape support in Brighton waiting to be heard. Brighton offers male only groups, trans groups and a mixed sex groups which they label as a womans group. No single sex female provision at all

This was a landmark piece of litigation funded and fought for by a group of women, which establishes beyond doubt that "women" is in fact a meaningful term under the law, that it relates to a group of people who all share the same biological sex (female) and that we are allowed to have rights and protections on that basis.

It literally couldn't be more feminist if it anthropomorphised as the ghost of Emmeline Pankhurst, grew out its armpit hair and threw itself in front of a horse for the right to vote, whilst burning its bra.

My threads/Instagram feeds are full of people crying about how awful/unfair/transphobic this all is. Apparently we are now as bad as trump. And what about "intersex" people. And clown fish. And and and and. Blah.

And just in case anyone feels the need to explain intersex to me. I know. That's the wrong term. They are still male or female. But the people I see on SM are calling them intersex.

Many of the women's groups "screaming out" for funding were the ones rejected for funding because they wouldn't include trans-identifying males in their definition of "women". So they didn't get the funding because they weren't "inclusive" enough.

I don't expect you to understand this but I thought I'd post it anyway for the sake of truth and fact.
