Bumcheeks fully on show at family attraction

Today I was at a local attraction aimed at young families. It's an outdoor attraction with a zoo, a few tame rides, a soft play, that sort of thing. Aimed at kids under 10.

There were two teenage girls there, probably about 16, didn't appear to be with anyone else, who were wondering around looking at the animals. One of them had on the shortest "skirt" imaginable. When I say bum cheeks were on show, I don't just mean a peek or a little glimpse. I mean the "skirt" ended almost at the top of her arse. It's truly was like a belt. Not only that but she was wearing a thong and fishnet tights. You could see her entire bum, and things were only just decent around the front.
She and her friend must have noticed quite a few shocked glances and maybe whispered comments because her friend said loudly "well that's THEIR problem isn't it"

Is it? AIBU to think its entirely inappropriate?

I think women would find it hard not to look also!

Basically naked from the waist down is right. There was just about enough cloth to stop her being arrested.

There was genuinely more material on her footwear.

It's not about being "mean girl". I don't want to see bare arses at the zoo, if they're not in the enclosures. I don't want my children to see the bare arses of pubescent children either, lest they start thinking they too can run around half naked.
And I'm genuinely concerned for the girl's own decency, privacy and dignity. If she bent over, I'd have seen what she had for breakfast.

It's funny looking back to Grunge, my era early 90s. Short dresses, stockings and army boots. Topped off with a big old cardie til you got to the pub. I was 16.

Did she go on the bouncy pillows because I went to a farm park today where there was a girl similar age, similar outfit, with thong pulled up over her waist band and she was bouncy around with the little children on the bouncing pillows 🫣

I also had a look around to see if there was a cringing parent anywhere but she seemed to be with one female friend and no one else. Struck me as odd.

Probably daring each other to see who could wear the least. And enjoying the thought that they were teasing the men who were getting excited but could do nothing about it in such a public place

I did the short skirts, denim cutoffs, big boots thing. I did the off the shoulder, low cut top thing.

Nowadays, if it's school holidays, I see a lot of arses! put them away. Kind of like "no shoes, no shirt - no service" in the USA.

It’s only a bum, let’s not blame young women for our own lack of comfort with what they’ve chosen to wear. They should be free to dress as they like
