To wonder what you want for your birthday?

In an ideal world. My birthday is coming up and on my wishlist, I’ve got: a Longchamp le pliage in paper, LEGO Pink bouquet set, a bracelet and a cake.

Seriously nothing
I'm 60 in a few weeks and there is absolutely nothing I want or need.
I've still got gift vouchers from Christmas 2023 that I need to use soon but can't think of anything.
I'm happy with what I have.

A solo trip off some coast.

Nothing. I hate presents.

Maybe some vouchers that I could spend on new shoes or a handbag. I don't need anything really. Vouchers for a book maybe.

A gold necklace.

A charm for my bracelet.
Lego record player.
Box of chocolates.
Bubble bath and body lotion.
Parker pen.

I am mid 50’s - I need lots of stuff but expensive items I cannot buy for myself/can’t afford so my list is

Pair of fitflop sandals £130

A voucher for a massage

Aesop candle

Aesop handcream

Betty’s fruit cake in a tin!

Little treats I’ve seen which are too frivolous to buy for myself 😁

Ring holder for my dressing table
Fancy umbrella
Travel coffee cup
Expensive cardigan (I held my nerve & it went in the sale)

2 birthday parties & 2 cakes 😂 My parents will host a birthday party for me (they do it for all my siblings) & the my ILs will throw a party for me too. The benefit of having a summer birthday 😎

Things I’ve considered but not actually asked for yet:

Kindle paperwhite (current one has a permanent mark on the screen & the case is knackered but can’t be replaced since my kindle is so old)

Polaroid printer (I have visions of printing really cool photos of us all & making a photo wall. My concern is that it’ll look a bit crappy & studenty in reality)

I'm going to get myself a haircut because I haven't had one for 2 years and my hair looks like a birds nest. Apart from that (which is more of an essential really at this point), nothing.

No idea. I have a big-ish bday coming up and since my big big one was during Covid I kind of want to make up for that but no idea what I want that to look like

Actually can’t afford anything this year, so it’s all a pipe dream.

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago.
I got:
Lego Tudor Corner and a display case for it, some Bothy Threads cross stitch kits, an RTO cross stitch kit I could only buy from Germany, which nearly doubled the price with postage and some new knickers from M&S.

It was also our WA so DH got some socks and hankies (he was down to fred bear ones ) a WASGIJ jigsaw and a couple Regatta fleece gilets.

I'm 50 this year, I'd like a dwarf cherry tree and an acer for the garden.

Don't plant the Cherry near a fence post - trust me on this.
I love Acers, I've 2 of the deep red ones, one copper coloured and one with green/pink/cream leaves.

🙂No, it's going in a gravel garden/seating area to give it more of a Japanese feel.

I've just had a birthday and because the weather usually starts to get good about now, I always get a brand new pair of white trainers and often a few bits of summery clothes. I never usually ask for anything else. This year was a bit random because I'm heavily pregnant so didn't have any ideas and was feeling sorry for myself 😂

Lego Beauty & the Beast castle (but it's very expensive so all the family would need to chip in)

Plants for my baskets & flower beds. (My birthday is in May so I often get garden stuff.)

A watch, albeit deciding which is proving tricky.

I’m retired and I am lucky to have free time.

I want to try a new skill/hobby so I’m asking for water colour paints. I have never painted before (except DIY).

I'm genuinely not sure. It was my birthday earlier this week. I was bought a pair of boots which don't fit so trying a new pair

Secret, “anything goes” wishlist:
• a mixed pie selection from getbaked, I love pies and our oven is broken so can’t make one
• a cat/kitten
• to be sent on one of these women-only outdoorsy hiking/skiing/kayaking retreat trips for several days
• a proper new haircut and dye (I’m so grey! But not in a cool way) at a good salon

I got uggs, trainers, earrings perfume and socks for mine

I don't usually want anything (just take me out to dinner), but this year I wasnt a pair of Beatles Crocs.
