I'm unsure about this but I'm on dating sites and as we all know it's full of parasites.

I was speaking to an elected councillor who I thought was decent, he sent me nudes, vulgar text etc. He swiftly deleted it but it's really wrong, I have screenshot etc. He was disgusting.

I'm not on about selling per se for money but we shouldn't have creeps like this representing us.

Report him to his party leader on whatever council he is on. And to the monitoring officer (solicitor) at the council.

Some councillors do use their personal mobile numbers.

Did you manage to keep the pictures and messages? If not it'll be your word against his and given that you contacted him, it might not end well.

If you're serious about getting this dealt with, you contact the leader of whichever council it is, and complain to them, and also make a complaint to the police at the same time.

I'd take money sure but I'd donate it.

Just go to metro online..they have a link at the bottom of their articles saying..have you got a story to tell? Just send info and ask do they want the photos.

If you genuinely wanted to take action, not for profit, I can't understand why you didn't contact the Council and his political party. That's surely the first thing to do and they can take action against him.

Based on what happened with one of our local councillors, he'll plead mental health, get 3 months suspension then get right back to it, because 'he's a good bloke really' and 'I've known him years.'

Sorry.. why do you want to do this exactly? A grown man sends nudes to a grown woman and consequently you want to publicly shame him and for him to loose his career? Under the guise that he ‘shouldn’t be representing us’. Think there’s more to this tale than meets the eye here. Careful you don’t get done for slander and libel.

He knew it was wrong as he deleted them in 30 mins but that's fine is it, poor guy.

Best case scenario it shows terrible judgement on his part. Not someone that should be in his position

If your motivation is really not about money then you need to complain to the monitoring officer at the LA.

It would absolutely be a breach of the Council Code of Conduct. Being a councillor is not a career, it is an elected position within the community and those who are elected are expected to maintain certain standards. Sending unsolicited nudes is illegal.
One of my local councillors recently got sanctioned for swearing at a junior council officer. This is many times worse, if true.

Why would a councillor’s personal mobile number be listed on the government website? He could have all sorts of people texting him if that was the case. They don’t just put mobile numbers on public websites. It doesn’t make any sense.
