Thongs are HOrrible!!!

I bought a lingerie set, and didn't realise I picked up the bloody brazilian style knickers.
So I wore them today, and It was TORTURE.
I went to IKEA with my mum and she couldn't get enough of the place, I wanted to scream all afternoon.
How can some people do it?

You know what, some people won't care. They might have just picked up their mum from hospital, nipped out of the house from a DV situation, had terrible news about a loved one, got a poorly kid at home and haven't left the house for a few days, who knows.

I don't tend to look long enough to form an opinion on the opacity of anyone else's leggings, let alone what shape of knickers they're wearing underneath and how far up their crack they've made it. I just presume everyone is making their own choices and I'll make mine and leave them to it.

Sadly because the anus is a sphincter it is impossible to clean entirely unless thoroughly washed aftering pooing and even then will unlikely be 100% particle free which isn't possible in all cases. Lots of issues with thrush and thongs.

No you don’t as they often go transparent at the back, where they get worn out more quickly and stretched more especially when you bend, than the front. They can look fine at the front, but not the back.

Always regularly check out your leggings from an arse view is my advice.

I only notice if they're right in front of me

I have a few pairs of comfy thongs i wear, very soft material, however for everyday I like a full knicker or as DH calls them, big pants

I've never worn anything other than thongs and have never had thrush, not even once.

I remember a thread a few months ago being like "pants gets bigger as you get older"

I look back out and I cannot believe that I used to wear them for long days working in a hospital as a nurse! In my 20s they were the only thing I wore!

Meh. Discovered massive full coverage granny pants when I was about maybe 25.

And... Never looked back. I don't give a fig if they're 'sexy' or 'appealing' (they're deff not). But the comfort is second to none.

Hated thongs even in my teens. I just find them gross - a string up your ass all day, and uncomfortable. Used to wear all kinds of lacy teeny tiny nonsense, but not thongs.

Isn't it obvious a thin strip of fabric rubbing against your anus all day. Skid marks. My pants don't do that. I like bikini pants with good bum coverage.

I’m ready to be shouted down by the my body my choice etc crowd but basically thongs are part and parcel of dressing for the male gaze.
Not something I’m prepared to do anymore although like most of us was most certainly a big factor in most of my clothing and appearance choices when I was younger.

Faecal bacteria do not cause thrush. Thrush is a fungal infection

I’m not aware of any reason why bacteria would prefer to travel along a thong to your vagina rather than your own skin

In 30 years of practising medicine I have never encountered anyone who suffered from recurrent vaginal infections due to habitual thong wearing

I know lesbians who wear thongs, they are definitely not doing it for the male gaze or male anything else.

They can bunch up if you put your trousers on haphazardly. You just need to take an extra 10 seconds when you put your trousers on to make sure they lie flat.

All my knickers are thongs 🤣 I'm 42 though and have been wearing them since mid teens so I'm used to them.

If I wear big knickers they always seem to ride right up my arse & I feel like I've got a constant wedgie 😩

Even if you don't get thrush or skid marks it's still gross to have a piece of fabric in your arse crack rubbing against your anus all day. If you're washing after you go to the loo then it's a bit better but most people don't. We have a Japanese loo with built in bidet and I still wouldn't wear a thong.

This is my feeling on it, but was unsure quite how to express it!

They were very fashionable when I was a teen, they would be worn on shoe above your low rise jeans.

I can remember thinking "surely that bit of fabric is just rubbing up against your actual arsehole all day?"

I assumed I must be wrong, so got myself one that I thought would look great on show above my jeans.

It did indeed just rub up against my arsehole all day, went straight in the bin and I've never bought one since.

They are utterly rank.
