Finishing my bottle of wine off in the bath

Had half a bottle of wine with my curry last night. Finishing it off now in the bath. DH thinks this is weird and unacceptable but I don’t really care. Any opinions? Or should I check myself in to AA?

YABU because the thought of slippy hands and glass bottles scares me. I definitely did not buy a plastic cup specifically for this purpose....

I hate drinking unless my upper body is entirely upright, so no wine in the bath for me.

@Gotitok Oh you are my kind of person! Many times I've poured wine into glasses, found there's a small amount left (which seems futile to put back in the fridge) and necked it out of the bottle. I remain unrepentant 😁.

That's one of my favourite things to do. Unfortunately this thread has remained me that I'm out of wine and the shop is now closed, so I'm a little jealous of you tbh!

Well I don’t really see an issue with it, I wouldn’t do it myself but I take my water bottle in to the bath with me!

Wine in the bath great but I wouldn't be up for a glass bottle in the bath.. also if the bathroom is hot won't it get warm quickly?

I absolutely love a Prosecco in the bath!

Any time I've tried, the thought of it has been better than the reality.

Baths just dont work for me. Too warm, too bored.

If it’s your thing go for it. Personally I won’t do it because wine and hot water can affect blood pressure so I would worry about fainting

And see the harm. That said I hate wine in the bath. I love wine and I love baths just not together

Mind the water isn't too hot though, I've occasionally fainted after a bath wine if the bathroom gets too steamy.
