Finishing my bottle of wine off in the bath

Had half a bottle of wine with my curry last night. Finishing it off now in the bath. DH thinks this is weird and unacceptable but I don’t really care. Any opinions? Or should I check myself in to AA?

It's a fine idea.
I do it, and often I don't even bother filling the bath. I just see it as a facility so you can't fall over. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

I assume you’re an adult and not a child, so you can do whatever you want and don’t need someone else’s permission.

I have an insulated, lidded stemless 'wine' glass from www.shoreusable.com that is perfect for bath time sipping, camping, picnics or just sitting on the patio. Doesn't shatter and keeps bugs out. Other cups are available.

Wine, a bath and a podcast - that is my idea of a well spent hour!

DD got me a little tray that fits across the bath to hold a glass and a book. Best present ever

I love a wine in the bath however I don't think it's something you can really drink out the bottle so for that YABU 😅

Many years ago I had a lovely old house with huge sash windows...I spent many a happy hour in the bath, window open, with my bottle of wine on the ledge to keep it a) cool and b) handy 🥰

Sounds like a wonderfully indulgent way to end the week! Not weird at all. Straight out of the bottle sounds like a more practical option, don't want a wine glass breaking and glass bottles are far sturdier .....although another option to eliminate any breakage opportunities would be to use one of those huski wince tumbler/coolers.....on my Amazon wishlist.

Haven't had a bath or a drink for over 10 years but it does sound wonderful. Glamorous and decadent. Definitely do it. Shower and a cup of tea for me. Nowhere near as much fun.

I can't bear having a bath, but YA definitely NBU. Drinking wine in the shower would just be, well, weird...
