To be worried about DS name (rude comment)

My DS is13. Never had any worries about his name before now.
But yesterday at work I had a rather rude comment from a customer ( I'm a garden/landscaper so have a chat with them here and there) this customer in particular im not a huge fan of. Fine in terms of work but just talks non stop only about herself and likes to mention how wealthy she is. But yesterday my colleague mentioned my son in conversation by name. And she gasped and said "oh how awful, who would name their child such a thing, eugh sounds like a bad omen"
I am now concerned there are lots of people who think this but have just never said it to my face before.
His name is Jonah.
I'm aware it has meaning in the bible to Jonah and the whale but I'm not religious and named him after a rugby player.
YABU his name is fine. YNBU she's just rude.
Be honest please.

She’s rude. I’d be applying the additional ‘rude tax’ to future work I do for her and move her off your customer list if that’s an option.

I love that name, and all I know is it's biblical and something to do with a whale. It seems strange to single Jonah out as a bad luck name, many many names are biblical. Peter didn't end so well did he, and Peters are all over the place.

I absolutely adore that name and always have ❤️
She sounds an entitled rude eejit. Now she has totally stepped out of line, you have time to think up something clever to retaliate the next time she says something. Cant believe the audacity of some people

He might get eaten by a whale 🐳
other than that - great name!

I absolutely love Jonah. Classic but not really common. It was on my list for DS1 but DH said he would be called Jonah Boner so vetoed 🙄 I’m still annoyed about it as I think he’s just ridiculous and normal people wouldn’t think that. Never heard of it being an ominous name either,

I had the same from my DH when I wanted Isaac - saying he would get Isacc hunt 🙄

I thought it was a name associated with bad luck, or a person who brings bad luck.

(There's a book by horror writer James Herbert called "The Jonah", and the front cover says, "It is dangerous to know the Jonah)

However the woman's comment was rude.
