I like MM. I think she's a decent actress and seems to be a decent person.

I find the hate towards her crazy. Some of the people who hate so vehemently I would cross the road to avoid because the level of vitriol is not normal.

That said though I won't watch this as it's not my cup of tea. I might buy her jam though, I like farm shops and shit like that so yeah I'd probably pick up a jar. Just won't watch the show.

I actually like Meghan. I met her on a walkabout way before all the nonsense happened and she did seem very humble and genuine. I know that doesn't really tell you much but I find calling her a hypocrite and liar very unfair considering she walked away from a family full of them (the Royals, Queen Elizabeth being the exception).

I get really annoyed at all the hatred spewed on her when two adulterers have been crowned who have done very little their entire lives. Camilla is the biggest freeloader out there (or grifter if that is the term we are using) and she certainly isn't fit to hold the current title she has.

That said...I am finding the show a bit Disney like. It's all a bit surreal. I love that she geuninely wants to make things beautiful and appealing, but considering I roll out of bed every morning and struggle to find my hairbrush, I find it a bit crazy that she can cook a meal, go beekeeping, make candles and an entire fruit platter in one episode. But I'm not putting down her personality because I think that is who she genuinely is. She isn't stuffy British royalty - which is why she was never ever ever going to stay there. But I agree with the poster who said to go a different path to do what she enjoys, not this.

So it all felt a bit off. But then I doubt Nigella's really got up in the middle of the night to eat brownies on the stairs when we see her doing that.

And Nigella is filmed in a staged kitchen in a warehouse, so Meghan shouldn't receive criticism for not doing her show at home.

Haven't watched it- not my thing at all.. however I was listening to the 'Rest is entertainment' pod cast and they were talking about the concept of hatewatching.
Some shows are so cringe that people actually hate watch- for example Emily in Paris. Apparently streaming services don't care why you watch, they just want viewing figures.
This programme probably falls into that category.

And again THIS. It continues to baffle me how so many people have such misplaced hatred towards this woman, given what the Royals have done, are proven to have done, and continue to do. All because they have titles - does that mean they are untouchable? That is not true. I saw the picture of a young woman on a yacht who some rumour monger said was Meghan, but it wasn’t. You only had to look to see. The similarity was that both had long dark hair and were slim. Ridiculous:

If that young woman or girl wasn’t of age, or she was being trafficked, or both, I’d be judging the older people on the boat that thought it was okay, for sure.

I don’t necessarily think everyone hates her. A lot do and are vocal about it. I think most people don’t really care about her that much. I don’t hate her. I don’t dislike her. I don’t think she behaved well when she got married but I actually sympathise with her because I feel it was a mixture of not understanding the role, her place in the pecking order, and cultural clashes between UK and US. She thought she was going to be doing speeches at the UN when actually her role was to open leisure centres in towns in Wales. I think they rushed their relationship and it all just collided in one big mess. I respect them for making a decision on their own life and I’m glad they are happy. I just feel like she is now trying too hard to be relevant and I don’t feel comfortable watching her promote herself as an expert on any topic because I just think why should I listen to her? If she was going to talk about acting I would think she knows more than me so on that subject I might want to listen.

I’m watching a YouTuber covering the Mindy episode and it is making me laugh out loud but that could be because of her delivery. The flowers on shaped sandwiches are a bit 🤔 my son would say what’s that and swipe them off (assuming these must be for children?). Also filling the sandwich after you’ve cut the shape seems odd, I’d cut the shapes after I’ve made the sandwich but maybe that’s just me. This Sussex name for all the family seems to have come out of nowhere when I definitely remember Archie being called Archie Mountbatten Windsor.

There’s really no need for me to watch (I wouldn’t anyway, I watched none of their output so far) because Youtubers are having a field day.
