To ask you what's the most satisfying thing your body has done?

I've been in hospital for a small procedure which left me with lots of trapped wind. I've been home for 2 days, turned over In bed this afternoon and did a completely silent but REALLY long burp which felt like it deflated my whole body and all the pain in my upper back and shoulders just went. It felt so relieving and satisfying.
My sister once pulled a hair from her foot only to find it was really long and had somehow wound over and under every toe and when she pulled it , she felt it on each one.

CRAMP...When one's calf or thigh goes into an agonising paroxysm of knotted agony that makes one cry out, and it looks like there are living beings under one's skin.

I have one at the very top of my lower leg, behind my knee. I let it build up until it is about the size of a lentil and then let rip 🤣

I have a sebaceous cyst zit on my back and every few months DS has a go at it. Last time I felt an odd 'click', I turned round to ask DS if anything had happened and there was an 8" long streak of thready bits across the front of his t shirt going up into his hair.

I once had a bad sinus infection. After a few days I had a horrible tickley feeling in my sinuses that nothing touched. Eventually I sneezed and a lump of bloody mucus came out of my nose that was the size and length of my middle finger. Suddenly I could smell things in France. It was glorious.

Gosh, for all these years I thought it was just me who had experienced the constipation in the days after giving birth to dc1 and eventual poo about a week later worse than giving birth. I can't say the satisfaction after doing the ginormous poo was worth the agony, and I made sure with dc2 not to get so constipated.

I had an infected cyst at the top of my thigh. It was so painful.. I was sat on the loo crying in pain.. I doubled over and felt a warm river of pus pouring down my thigh.. it had finally burst and it just kept coming and coming... it was gross but the sweet relief was so worth it! Left a massive hole that took weeks to heal...

It’s when you have a good, big poo that leaves no evidence. You know you did it, you felt it pass, but it shot straight round the u-bend, and when you wiped there was - nothing.

Thoroughly weird. Thoroughly satisfying, like you body has done something magical.

I had a Bartholin cyst (spot on labia) I had tried to squeeze it a few times but made it worse, it was starting to hurt when I walked I decided needed to be brave and warmed it up with a hot compress and did a twist and squeeze manoeuvre and it popped. It wasn’t a moment I could share but one I shall always remember

a few months ago I was very constipated I eventually managed to pass a massive hard poo but I actually went dizzy and nearly fainted I had to lay on the bathroom floor and felt shaky for a few hours after

Two things:

One: I had one of my back molars removed many years ago because it broke and I couldn’t afford the treatment to save it. Three weeks later it was still really sore and then one day I saw something white poking out of my gum. I poked at it with tweezers and it slid out. Basically the dentist had left a whole root behind and it taken three weeks to work its way up to the surface. The moment it was out, the soreness instantly disappeared.

Two: I fell off my bike as a student and injured two fingers; they were bent out at hideous angles. Went to A&E and an x-ray revealed they were dislocated and i was told I’d need to wait for the doctor to come and manipulate them back into place. While I was waiting I thought ‘How hard can it be?’ and just sort of yanked them back into place myself. Obviously the pain was insane and took loads of attempts but the way they sort of clunked back into position was very satisfying. The doctor said I was lucky not to make things worse and also that they’d have given me pain relief if I’d waited but who has the time for that, eh?

My dad can do it on demand. Or he could when we were children. We were always asking him to do it. He always obliged. My mother was less than amused.
I never knew there was an actual name for it.

I can but also I do it by accident too all the time and it's very annoying!

My liver is very efficient. Recent blood tests have been amazing! I am not a huge boozer but have definitely used my allocated allowance at times! Q

I've done some noteworthy shits in my 44 years but nothing compares to the satisfaction of scratching off a milk blister and squeezing the breast such that the backed-up milk in the duct comes out like the fucking Trevi Fountain.

I have ibs and when I'm in agony the farts i produce are a thing of beauty. And oh my God the relief is amazing.

My 1st poop after dd1 was horrific. Took a week because they put a painkiller up my arse. With my 2nd I didn't have that and pooped before I left hospital normally.

I also love poking away at chin hairs and the feeling of relief when I get them is great but also I get pissed off if I get them too quick.
