I've been in hospital for a small procedure which left me with lots of trapped wind. I've been home for 2 days, turned over In bed this afternoon and did a completely silent but REALLY long burp which felt like it deflated my whole body and all the pain in my upper back and shoulders just went. It felt so relieving and satisfying.
My sister once pulled a hair from her foot only to find it was really long and had somehow wound over and under every toe and when she pulled it , she felt it on each one.

I was hugely constipated a few years ago. It was so severe, I honestly thought I was in trouble! It was enormous and rock hard! I tried for days to push it out, sweating, panting, praying, crying, feeling faint, I even rang 111 at one point because I was so scared! They advised me to use an enema, which I did, and after straining and sweating and wailing, the enema still didn't break it down much at all but it was enough to get it moving and that feeling when I felt it moving and emerging, the elation when it finally exited my body was pure relief followed by immense joy!
I have made it my mission to never get that constipated again and so far, I haven't!

I love that empty, stone-lighter feeling after being bunged up!

InvisibilityCloakActivated · 01/03/2025 23:29

One of the most satisfying feelings must be the feeling about 2 weeks after birth and 30 seconds after your baby latches and the rock-hard boulder boobs start deflating!

XenoBitch · 01/03/2025 23:30

I had a large piece of dry skin in amongst one of my eyebrows. I pulled at it, and it slid out and over my eyebrow hairs in one piece. It had loads of little holes in it where the hair had been growing through it. Not had it since, but I still think about it.

ZZTopGuitarSolo · 01/03/2025 23:30

I had an organ removed. For a few days after, every time I rolled over, my insides made a kind of gurgling, organs-reorganizing-themselves, SHLUMPF feeling.

It was awful and satisfying at the same time.

The spiral ingrown hair in my armpit that I’d tried digging out for years. Started to think it was a vein. Must have been 5cm long.

Ear abscess that finally erupted and landed near my elbow.

MY BEST one - bilateral dermoid cysts. One had grown its own blood supply and wrapped itself round an overy and was the size of a slightly deflated rugby ball apparently! Mostly hair and teeth. Gutted they wouldn’t let me keep it.

The cyst had hair and teeth? Were you a twin?

I sneezed unexpectedly earlier and my pelvic floor just about managed hang on!

I don't know if this is allowed, but react to anaesthetic. I've had horrendous dental pain before and it's the worse pain I've ever suffered, worse than any bone I've broken. The moment that syringe of anaesthetic goes in, I could've cried with the sense of relief.

Other than that, a fart.

rivalsbinge · 01/03/2025 23:36

Slightly different, I did a 75kg over head squat.

The sense of oh my god that's amazing followed by 2 days of tired! I was 65kg at the time of doing it..

I currently would struggle to do 25kg now 8 years later, but I'm going to work up and see what my 50 years later old body can do.

Numsmetposter · 01/03/2025 23:38

The final push as middle child slid out, still in the sac. My other children weren't satisfying just agony as the waters were already popped. Every so often I kiss his massive head and remember that satisfying feeling, or maybe it's more of an oxytocin release.

Misorchid · 01/03/2025 23:43

Although I didn’t enjoy labour, the actual expulsion of my DD was overwhelming and even orgasmic. I felt she was coming from the centre of the earth.

a few months ago, the relief of the trapped wind finally leaving me after laparoscopic keyhole surgery was immense.

lifeonmars100 · 01/03/2025 23:43

The one and only time I had an ear blocked with wax coincided with the time that they stopped doing syringing at the GPs . I could not hear properly, my balance was affected and it was miserable. Used Earex and tried warm oil to soften it in the hope that it would loosen and drop out. Did not work and I was wretched . Then I happened upon a little plastic syringe on Amazon, all you did was was flush out the ear with warm water (not advisable but I was desperate). It worked like a dream and this great big lump of wax shot out. I could hear again, I could stand without feeling dizzy, the relief was magnificent and I have never forgotten how good it felt. Never had a blocked ear again but I have kept the syringe just in case

I now understand why the midwives kept offering me laxatives after my EMCS, and seemed taken aback when I said I didn't need them. I have IBS and my body responded to the stress/unfamiliar medication in its usual way, by giving me the exact opposite of constipation. I wasn't at all surprised, but the midwives thought I had a nasty bug and moved me to a private side room with its own bathroom. The only perk my IBS has ever brought me.

Another vote here for the first post partum poo, achieved with the assistance of a heavy duty suppository. It was so huge I thought I was going to be hospitalised. I wept in relief and duly took photos.

Dolambslikemintsauce · 01/03/2025 23:46

Switched off the pain I had from fracturing my foot- so well I didn't know it was broken until a year later when I did it again and old healed breaks showed on xray...

Helloyouok · 01/03/2025 23:47

I have this weird little recurrent blackhead thing at the top of my shoulder next to where my collarbone ends. It looks like a tiny mole but every few weeks I can squeeze it and gunk comes out. It feels so much more satisfying than squeezing any other spot.

Cattenberg · 01/03/2025 23:50

Since my last post was at a tangent, I've just remembered one particular time I had a blocked nose. I pressed one nostril closed and blew hard out of the other. What came out was the size and shape of a slug. Gross, but very satisfying.

pastaandpesto · 01/03/2025 23:56

I think is is utterly fabulous that we are on page three of shitting and squeezing and bleeding and not a single person has mentioned sex.

It hasn't even made the cut where people have provided lists.

I fucking love women.

The cyst had hair and teeth? Were you a twin?

I have one of those cysts attached to my ovary. It isn’t anything to do with twins - that’s a myth. It’s just tissue that’s grown from cells that are in the wrong place. Sometimes they can look a bit like an embryo but they’re not actually the remains of a twin. They’re your own cells that have grown from you. They’re usually hair, fat or tooth but in very rare cases they can even include brain or eye tissue. My gynaecologist thinks mine probably has a couple of teeth inside it. If I ever need it removing, I’m fully intending to ask if I can take it home in a jar.

Getting wax out of my blocked ears. After weeks of not being able to hear properly. Was like being under water all the time.

Smokesandeats · 01/03/2025 23:57

I have long covid and have had almost no sense of smell for 7 months. A few days ago I was delighted to realise that I could faintly smell and taste an apple that I was eating. I went to the cupboard and opened a jar of Nutella to see if I could smell it. The scent of sweet chocolate and hazelnuts hitting my nose was a wonderful and satisfying moment!

Some type of norovirus as a teenager when I had to sit in the bath for 24 hours

And vomited, pooed and pissed and bled from the eyes all at the same time

Oh that sounds so bad.

I once was kneeling in front of the loo with norovirus and the force of vomiting made me wet myself. {Amazingly not poo!}

NOW I sit on the loo with a bucket cradled on my lap when I have norovirus.. so grim, so gross.

That thing where you squirt from under your tongue, it happens every few years, always by accident, and can never do it intentionally

I had my ears syringed years ago- the satisfying WOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH of the warm water and the sudden BLAST of being able to hear crisply again was great!
I didn't want to see what came out, but son who was little, was watching, and said it looked like a chick pea! 🤢

Ive given birth but im going to mention something more pleasurable in the moment instead. (And not sex either 😆!)

It’s called frisson and I get it after I’ve been in the sauna or steam room for a while.

The hairs on my legs and arms start to stand on end, also on my head all over my face and it feels strangely spiritual, it’s like an all over body euphoria, where I start to breathe deeply and it enhances the effect.

It doesn’t happen every time but it’s always such a great feeling. It takes me to another place.

I couldn’t talk and experience it at the same time. You have to be in the zone, somehow and let it wash over you.

Usually I’m extremely hot at this point.

I can get it listening to music but not as strongly or for as long.
