I've been in hospital for a small procedure which left me with lots of trapped wind. I've been home for 2 days, turned over In bed this afternoon and did a completely silent but REALLY long burp which felt like it deflated my whole body and all the pain in my upper back and shoulders just went. It felt so relieving and satisfying.
My sister once pulled a hair from her foot only to find it was really long and had somehow wound over and under every toe and when she pulled it , she felt it on each one.

Standing up after delivering my second born and feeling my organs slide back down into place in my abdomen with a kind of plopping motion.

Weirdest feeling but oddly satisfying

TheIvyRestaurant · 01/03/2025 22:45

Completely emptying my bowels after a very large dinner. The satisfaction is unparalleled

Justmuddlingalong · 01/03/2025 22:46

This little beauty. Thankfully I started a thread about it, so can reminisce whenever I want to.

I was going to say "gave birth to three children", but then I remembered that phantom poo I once did...

What’s a phantom poo?

Peed out a kidney stone.
It was only this last week. But the relief to have no pain and be released from hospital was joy.
Plus I didn't even feel it

Same!
Last year, 2 days in hospital in absolute agony, hooked up to a morphine drip.
The relief when I passed it was immense.
Read an article the other day on what was the most agonising pain, kidney stone was 4th on the list, more painful than a gunshot wound apparently.

İt's not really satisfying but it's definitely the strangest and I feel like I've been holding this story in a long time......I had had a missed miscarriage some months before and still had some symptoms, including excreting milk like fluid from my nipples. I was having a lay down on a patch of grass and dozed off. When I woke up, there was a really weird crawling feeling coming from my nipple and I was driving me insane. I had a peek inside my top and an ant had crawled head first into the duct and was drinking the milk from me. I tried to blow or flick it off me and its body blew away but the head was still stuck. Obviously I was quite worried about it getting stuck there, but eventually it was a satisfying feeling getting the head out with my fingernails.

madameimadam · 01/03/2025 22:48

The chin spot I had been cultivating for weeks. Angry, red and it was absolutely ripe.

I put a hot cloth on it to draw it out and soften it.
I then gave it a squeeze...

My god.

That lump produced about 5 sacs of pus that hit the mirror. Individual, delicious sacs of hideousness. And left a crater in my chin. I've still got a scar 20 years later. But my god, it was worth it.

The house brick poo (I swear it had corners) I had three or four days after giving birth to my daughter is still something I think and talk about five years later. It was ASTOUNDING. It hurt and i was certainly frightened, but the relief was amazing. I think I will think of it on my deathbed.

I always remember from 37 years ago. I explain as passes a tree trunk and it felt like it too. I thought it was going to split me in half.

Wow, that’s really weird. Glad you woke up.

One month instead of a period I passed the whole uterus lining in one go. It was a perfect cast of my uterus and absolutely fascinating, also very convient to have my period over with in a day. Of course I googled to find out what happened and it's called a decidual cast, quite rare apparently.

When DH came back from Afghanistan he had the most amazing sandy blackhead on his back that went on for ages!

Ants love boob milk, when DC2 was small I was staying at MILs who had an ant issue, I caught one on my breast pump lapping up some spilt milk. I think I would have fainted if one tried to climb into my nip! Glad you got it out.

Managing to finally, after some minutes, swallow the fish bone that had become firmly caught at the back of my throat. I thought I might have to go to hospital to have it removed. Massive satisfying relief.

Apparently drink a can of coke - if it ever happens again! (Although hope not)

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 01/03/2025 23:18

I was at a very fancy 'do', dressed up to the nines and wearing my 'hold it all in' knickers. About half way through I got the most awful trapped wind. It was agony. I wanted to roll around on the floor kicking at my belly like a horse with colic. Luckily the 'do' was in the hotel where I was staying, so I excused myself, took myself up to my room and rolled about on the bed after I'd taken my knickers off. I did a fart so long and loud that it sounded like a passing jet overhead, and was then capable of rejoining the party. I felt SO much better afterwards.

RobertaFirmino · 01/03/2025 23:18

I was taking codeine alongside iron supplements. Needless to say, I was backing up and the GP advised eight sachets of Laxido in one go as soon as I got back home and another eight before bed. It worked and the result was as long and as thick as my forearm. I stood there for a good couple of minutes in a mixture of shock and awe!

MrsSkylerWhite · 01/03/2025 23:20

A record breaking poo (couple of days after after child number two, appropriately). Bloody enormous 😁

FUCK. OFF.

Sgtmajormummy · 01/03/2025 23:21

A blocked tear duct came unblocked and sprayed onto my cheek. Instant relief.

WeeklyNameChangeTime · 01/03/2025 23:23

I am loving these so much.

DH lets me ‘operate’ on him often. He’s a hairy fucker so he gets a lot of ingrown hairs for me to operate on. He’s so lucky to be married to a fully qualified surgeon

Gottenme · 01/03/2025 23:23

I have multiple satisfying things that my body does/has done:

(1) I have some really long and deep burps that come out randomly and without warning.

(2) Really good poos when you're touching cloth. The feeling of release afterwards is sooooo satisfying!

(3) After giving birth to my first child, during the night, I hopped out of bed and felt something making it's way down my leg. I wondered what the hell it was, assuming it was perhaps a bundled up pair of socks or a pair of knickers that I'd I advertently managed to get caught in my trousers leg.

It was semi dark in the room because it was the middle of the night. It finally fell out onto the floor and bent down in poor light to pick it up.

It was a huge blood clot the size of my palm!!! Like a tennis ball size... I reported it to the midwife who seemed mildly concerned and told me to report it straight away if I had any.more. Never did though!.

SwedishEdith · 01/03/2025 23:24

When the midwife was trying to pull my placenta out, the cord snapped. I was in my own hospital room with private bathroom (NHS) so she told me to sit on the toilet and it should come out. It glided out in one smooth effortless drop. Such a strange but satisfying feeling.

That is so fucked up.

I too have experienced the tree trunk poo and pulling a long hair out of my eye which were both great. But the winner for me would be a couple of weeks ago when I had one of those spots that are like a tiny hard round ball under your skin. It wouldn't budge when I squeezed it. Eventually I got the tweezers and plucked it out. It left a perfectly round little hole and made a small popping sound as it came out. Lovely.

I wish periods were like this - but painless obviously

Byebyechicken · 01/03/2025 23:27

I was hugely constipated a few years ago. It was so severe, I honestly thought I was in trouble! It was enormous and rock hard! I tried for days to push it out, sweating, panting, praying, crying, feeling faint, I even rang 111 at one point because I was so scared! They advised me to use an enema, which I did, and after straining and sweating and wailing, the enema still didn't break it down much at all but it was enough to get it moving and that feeling when I felt it moving and emerging, the elation when it finally exited my body was pure relief followed by immense joy!
I have made it my mission to never get that constipated again and so far, I haven't!
