I've been in hospital for a small procedure which left me with lots of trapped wind. I've been home for 2 days, turned over In bed this afternoon and did a completely silent but REALLY long burp which felt like it deflated my whole body and all the pain in my upper back and shoulders just went. It felt so relieving and satisfying.
My sister once pulled a hair from her foot only to find it was really long and had somehow wound over and under every toe and when she pulled it , she felt it on each one.

Some type of norovirus as a teenager when I had to sit in the bath for 24 hours

And vomited, pooed and pissed and bled from the eyes all at the same time

That sounds more Like ebola 😐

I had a painful lump under my armpit, went to GP who referred me for a mammogram. All clear but this lump was the size of a cherry tomato and excruciatingly painful. I couldn't put my arm down and struggled to drive. GP said it needed draining and I had to book it, by now it had been 4 weeks of agony. In the shower, lifted my arm to wash my hair and it literally erupted pus and blood. The relief was like no other, I actually cried. I've had 3 vaginally births and this pain had topped them. It left a scar and the memory of that pain stays with me. So proud of my body for telling it to fuck off out!

When I located my tonsil stones I didn’t know I had. I knew something was there? Annoying the back of my throat. Oh my god the joy at picking them out. Absolutely vile but fresh breath now ! 🤣🤣🤣

When I see people fall or get injured, real life or tv I feel a spasm in my body. It can be quite painful, daughter gets the same and we say simultaneously 'ouch I felt that'.

I could always feel the egg being released from my ovary every month. Actually quite painful but amazing too.

Kind of missed it when menopause hit.

The massive poo after being constipated for a month when pg with DD. It created suction. I felt like it was going to suck my insides out. Scary, but blessed relief.

I get terrible ovulation, like really painful period cramps, and for a few days. Can we swap?

They suspect endo though, so maybe that's why.

When I do mobility stretching before exercise and the click happens as do a lower back. It’s amazing. My back feels so freed up. Doesn’t happen every time I do it, but when it does it feels fabulous.

I got a big swollen bump next to and sort of between front hole and back hole but slightly towards the leg. It got so tight and painful that I begged DH to squeeze it slightly. Oh dear god, the pain. Then I felt this funny jiggly feeling and DH shot to his right and ducked. Utter blessed relief. He saw something shoot out but couldn't see what nor where. Both looked about the room and found no evidence. About an hour later we found a six inch streak of bloody pus down the wall, 12 feet away behind the telly. Now that's what I call a pressure release.

One weekend, was doing the weekly shop and decided to pop in the bookshop on the way out of the shopping centre. They had fluorescent lights and those buggers were humming like hell. So bad that by the time we left a migraine had set in. When we got home DH made us a cup of tea and got out the blackcurrant tarts we'd bought for a Saturday afternoon treat. My head was hurting really bad but thought a snack might help. Within a few minutes of eating, I was swaying all over the place with head spinning and feeling sudden nausea. I stumbled to the kitchen for a bowl but as soon as I reached the door, still fully upright, I uncontrollably and violently projectile vomited with such force that I covered the wall with the most unnaturally luminous pinky purple vomit I've ever seen. It was like a scene from the Exorcist as reimagined by Jackson Pollock. Migraine instantly gone. Amazing feeling of relief and I carried on the rest of my day as if nothing happened. DH walked me to a chair, sat me down and cleaned it up. That's love. Well, love and an amazing ability to remain unfazed by grossness.

I've told this one before, under a different user name.

I'd had this bump in my public area for months. It would itch for a while, become a little sore before seeming to fade away again.
I'd given it an occasional tentative squeeze but chickened out. One night, I'd just been for a wee and it really started to itch, badly itch. I felt it and there was a tiny pointy bit sticking out of the middle. I thought fuck this, braced myself against the door, put my fingers on it and squeezed really hard. Fuck, did it hurt and it was the most intense itching sensation I've ever experienced but I refused to give up. I felt a big pop. I looked on my hand and there was a load of yellow pus and blood with a jet black lump sitting in it. It was a mass of hairs. It looked like a tiny burnt twig. I pressed it between my nails and it separated into dozens of fine hairs, looking a bit like the tip of a kids paintbrush. The hair must have grown, been too weak to break the surface and grown again, over and over. It was gross but the itch was gone.

a bit like

Years back I had a really bad cold. As I do when these things happen, I clean my nose out by scraping around inside the nostril with my index fingernail whilst in the shower. This goes on with plenty of blowing out each nostril by pressing on the opposite side. On this occasion a large slimy slug of gelatinous mucous hung down so I grabbed it with my fingers and pulled, then used my fingers on the other hand to pull. I finally pulled out a roughly 20cm goopy rope of snot that I could feel coming away from deep within my throat and then out my nose. An amazing sight and such relief!

OMG I had this. About 20 years ago mind you and I remember it vividly. Bloody awesome. I felt as if my cold was instantly cured!
Similarly my son was admitted to ICU during COVID as his Oxygen levels dropped to about 85. He coughed up a massive catarrh ball which he tells us was various shades of nastiness. He felt so much better and was out of ICU within 24 hours. (Sorry if you're eating)

Get fuc*ed senseless!

Freshflower · 04/03/2025 22:29

I noticed a tiny spec of something at the corner of my eye, I pulled it , and something light and stringy came out , but it came out from everywhere in different directions from behind my eyeball all stringing out in one piece, it was tickly and I can't explain how amazing it felt.
Another time I had a strip of skin running down the bridge of my nose from forehead to the tip of my nose, I pulled it thinking it would just rip off a little bit but it ripped all the way down , the sheer satisfaction of it. For about 5 days a new bit of skin would appear and I'd rip it all the way off my nose. Was gutted when it didn't show up one day never to be seen again.

This thread is amazing!

Nowhere near as gross interesting as most of these, but years ago I broke my arm. It was in a cast for 8 weeks and when it was removed the part of my arm and hand that was under the cast were covered in what I can only describe as fur. It was so dense, about 2 inches long and so so soft. It was like having a blanket on my arm and I loved stroking it until a few days later when thought it was a bit weird so shaved it off. Decades later I still stroke my wrist in comfort.

Topsyturvy78 · 06/03/2025 04:19

This wasn't me but my daughter. I pulled something out of her back another time I pulled 1 out of her eyebrow. It was long hard and clear. A bit like the texture of nails was really weird.

I looked it up online . The nearest I could find said they're sebum plugs. I'm not sure that's what they were though. These were longer thicker and hard.
