Went shopping today & saw this muzzled dog opposite. Gave me a shock as I v rarely see muzzled dogs in my area & never ones that resemble XL Bullies. I know the pic is blurred,

It’s also not clear as to whether it’s taxidermied and/or smoking a blunt.

Definitely taxidermied. But it’s a cat.

I think you need a lie down.

Whatever it is, its fat, not muscular

It prefers ‘big-boned.’

I was out walking around Loch Ness today, and captured this. I know the picture is blurry, but it looks like an XL Bully to me - what do people think? Is there an XL Bully living in Loch Ness??

It's clearly the arm of a swimmer & that dog photo should have the OP charged with using a phone while driving

ThighsYouCantControl · 01/03/2025 07:29

Shetland pony?

CautiousLurker01 · 01/03/2025 07:29

Picture so blurred it could be a cow for all we know.

Ohdearwhatnow4 · 01/03/2025 07:30

Maybe cross but looking at shoulders I'd say no.

babyproblems · 01/03/2025 07:30

This thread is hilarious! Made my morning, thanks 🤩 😂

What's the point of your post?

I wish! The legs, tail & face were not at all Lab-like. Possibly not XL Bully but def somewhat similar.
I wouldn't be complaining if I saw a dog like this!

Edited

I do not like XL's, but why are you complaining and what do you think you have to complain about? If it was an XL and muzzled then the owner is abiding by the law.

Bungalowknees · 01/03/2025 07:36

Could it be one of these? They are almost impossible to keep under control although this person is doing ok 😀

Looks like an otter on legs 😀

pictoosh · 01/03/2025 07:39

Did you take that photo from the car as you drove past?
Tells us nothing.
I am intrigued as to your point though. Why take the picture?

Brahumbug · 01/03/2025 07:39

It's clearly Shergar! 😁

brettsalanger · 01/03/2025 07:39

What an incredible thread !

LittleGreenDragons · 01/03/2025 07:42

Can't tell its breed from your photo but it does look chubby rather than muscular so I am assuming it's muzzled because it won't stop eating rubbish off the floor.

Agree with pp, what are you wanting from this thread? Even sweet natured and friendly labs can be muzzled if they are snafflers.

CompleteOvaryAction · 01/03/2025 07:42

I think that as a matter of urgency all out-of-focus dogs should be euthanised. You can't be too careful, and there's no knowing when they might turn.

NewmummyJ · 01/03/2025 07:46

I can't identify the breed but I can identify that it has eaten all the pies. Someone get this animal some MJ stat.

Glittertwins · 01/03/2025 07:49

Damn, @NewmummyJ beat me to it!!

Aren’t…aren’t all otters on legs?
i feel my understanding of basic biology slipping away from me.

GreenWheat · 01/03/2025 07:51

I think it might be a small hippo wearing white wellies. That said, it's unusual to see those wearing a muzzle so maybe it's a chubby pony 🤷‍♀️

MrsPerfect12 · 01/03/2025 07:53

That was fun, away to now look at the wildlife page for more giggles. 🤭

Yes. Let's not fat-shame a dog 😂

Ah you are right, otters legs are short though (much like my own now I think of it 😁)

Why is it a shock to see a muzzled dog? A muzzle doesn’t equal aggression and it shows the owner is being responsible for whatever reason it’s needed.
