Went shopping today & saw this muzzled dog opposite. Gave me a shock as I v rarely see muzzled dogs in my area & never ones that resemble XL Bullies. I know the pic is blurred,

The photo is like the photos I used to take with my Brownie camera when I was 7. The replies are, however, brilliant.

No idea from those photos and can't believe you'd think they were adequate for people to recognise anything never mind an XL bully .
I've just been to the vet this evening and came face to face with the hugest Xl I've ever seen. Stunning dog and hugely friendly , only 9mths old but already bigger than my bullmastiffs . I can absolutely see the damage they could do if they went rogue but this one was lovely .

I was out walking around Loch Ness today, and captured this. I know the picture is blurry, but it looks like an XL Bully to me - what do people think? Is there an XL Bully living in Loch Ness??

YABU. You should've called the police immediately so they could shoot it before it killed anyone.

Escaped moustache?

😆😆

dawngreen · 01/03/2025 06:02

Paranoid and needs photography lessons.

Allelbowsandtoes · 01/03/2025 06:05

Looks like a tiny horse in white leather boots.
Horse stripper? Perhaps the muzzle is some sort of kink thing?

LameBorzoi · 01/03/2025 06:08

It's bigfoot.

Buildingthefuture · 01/03/2025 06:11

Labrador in wellies? Perhaps he’s one of the rare labs who doesn’t like to get dirty?
Or maybe they are cowboy boots and he is on his way to his line dancing class 🕺

Shoxfordian · 01/03/2025 06:13

Even if it is an xl, as long as it's muzzled then it's allowed

FreddoSwaggins · 01/03/2025 06:35

Well this is a trocky one isnt it. The photo is blurred better than footage that is blurred to protected the identity of the person in the footage.

SulkySeagull · 01/03/2025 06:36

This is your sign to get a new phone.

NOW I'm angry! Anyone can see that your picture is an elephant drowning! To the left of his "trunk", you can see his ear as he struggles to swim. People should never, ever, allow their elephants to swim without floaties or a life jacket. It endangers the elephant and is, frankly, neglectful.

I hope someone jumped in and saved Dumbo's Momma!

Indianajet · 01/03/2025 06:50

Thanks for this thread, I needed a laugh!

Whattheduck · 01/03/2025 06:51

A pointless thread ( apart from the brilliant responses) and yes you are being unreasonable to post such a shit picture

Concretejungle1 · 01/03/2025 06:56

Or a giant net to capture whatever it is.

op you cannot tell what it is.
it may not be an xl.
it is muzzled then the owner is following the rules. You said It was muzzled anyway?
I'm little unsure what the point was?
I'm currently looking after my friends dog and I'm weary, but if a dog is muzzled then I'm not sure the problem?

Bigfellabamboo · 01/03/2025 06:58

Shitmonger · 01/03/2025 03:45

It could be anything by that photo. Possibly a pygmy hippo. 😂

Yeah, or a wheelie bin. What a useless picture

WashYourDamnRice · 01/03/2025 06:59

This has the potential to be a most amusing thread.

LovelyLeitrim · 01/03/2025 07:02

Is it a bird?
is it a plane?
Just what is it?

Boopeedoop · 01/03/2025 07:08

My vote is on an XL dachshund. Rare, but very aggressive. Thank goodness it's muzzled.

Cathmawr · 01/03/2025 07:10

Definitely the beast of bodmin moor

JoBrodie · 01/03/2025 07:10

I felt a bit bad for laughing as I was also a bit nervous to walk past one of these a while ago (unmuzzled), though I can't ID whatever's in the photo. That said can I recommend that anyone who has a Facebook account go and visit 'Crap wildlife photography' as it's very entertaining https://www.facebook.com/groups/1479326849031169 :D

Erumpent!!!!!

Apollo365 · 01/03/2025 07:15

Ive met one Xl bully (apparently) just looked like a standard staffie and was a joyful, friendly dog. I think the owner was had 🤣
But re this pic; looks like a hippo/horse. Also lots of dogs round here muzzled. Surely that’s good?
Most muzzled for eating crap off the floor that makes them poorly.

Apollo365 · 01/03/2025 07:19

Panther?

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 01/03/2025 07:22

Whatever it is, its fat, not muscular
