The American press are worried about being banned from the White House. AP have already been banned: they refused to recommend a change from Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America, on the grounds that for their international audience the former is more appropriate.

It's certainly not the case that all US equipment was due for disposal, though, by a long shot.

My comment was intended to highlight the nature of the problem to other posters rather than to try to change your mind.

If you really want to understand the nuance if what's going on, there is plenty of information and analysis already out there. But I don't think you're genuinely interested so I'm not going to waste my time. Sometimes, it's better to accept that people are too far gone to bother.

Sometimes people just spout things to make themselves seem intelligent and superior when they have nothing to say. Sounds good but saying zilch. An easy get out tactic without saying anything at all.

I gave up with Odin earlier today myself. It's just too exhausting arguing with someone who is being deliberately irrational and refuses to engage in fact-based discussion. Although it's frustrating to give up too, as this is their tactic: flood the zone; exhaust your opponents.
