I'd love a utility room. It would be great to have my Lakeland heated airer hidden away from view.

I'd also love a bidet. My bathroom, alas, simply isn't big enough. I'm British, but it does surprise me a bit that they've never really taken off in this country. I'd love to have a freshen up down below, just whenever.

Anyway, what about you?

A mile of land in every direction with no cunt on it.

Living the dream! Grin

Yeah, you beat me to it with this tbh.

I've been fed up this week and looking at property for sale in remote locations. I'm basically fantasising about how my life could be once I've got DD through school.

MrsPerfect12 · 21/02/2025 18:09

A bigger utility room. Mine is too small it's annoying.
A swimming pool & a bed that has controllers for each side - husband says we're too young for that 😡

BloodyHellBob · 21/02/2025 18:10

An extra bedroom and a garden office which is well insulated and heated with proper electrics and WiFi. I wfh a lot and hate working in the kitchen or a bedroom.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 21/02/2025 18:11

Potentially achievable: a downstairs shower room and utility.

Fantasy land: a fourth bedroom/a way of making DS’ room bigger. The only way I can think of to achieve this is to take the whole roof off, raise it (hip and gable roof so can’t do a normal loft conversion) and put a master suite in the loft. However, a) it would cost an utter fortune and b) I’m not sure I’d get planning permission for that given it’s a semi. It would be cheaper to move house, but I never see anything I really like in my price range.

Impossible without moving: a lovely big garden with mature trees with a swing, secluded, not overlooked etc etc. Current garden is average sized (not new build tiny but not massive) and overlooked on three sides. And while I’m at it a trampoline barn, a swimming pool and a turret.

A craft room a utility room with an old fashioned airer and a book room library with all the books in categories n

Getitwright · 21/02/2025 18:12

A proper swimming pool! We have a big above ground one, but I would love either a swimming pond, or a current flow pool.

Needmorelego · 21/02/2025 18:13

A balcony.
Lockdown really taught me that all flats should legally have to have a balcony.

WhenICalledYouLastNightFromTesco · 21/02/2025 18:13

Yes, a utility room and for our single drive to be turned into a double. My DH has been going to do these 2 jobs for several years now 😑.

MargaretThursday · 21/02/2025 18:14

Library and craft room. They could be combined.

Justanotherbitoffur · 21/02/2025 18:14

A boot room with huge cupboards for each person to put boots, coats and school bags (and an indoor dog washing facility) and a walk in pantry

StepAwayFromGoogling · 21/02/2025 18:14

About £1million?

StrawberryWater · 21/02/2025 18:15

A garden office and a massive dormer window in the attic bedroom as the ceiling is a bit low.

PickAChew · 21/02/2025 18:16

A laundry room so I no longer have to listen to it and look at it all day.

Lucytheloose · 21/02/2025 18:17

Utility room, downstairs cloakroom, dedicated spare bedroom, conservatory. Basically, there's a whole wing missing.

DuesToTheDirt · 21/02/2025 18:18

A garage to store crap.

A bigger vestibule to store shoes and more coats.

That's it really, I'm pretty happy with what I have.

LaPalmaLlama · 21/02/2025 18:18

water pressure. having an accumulator fitted next week- please god let it work or I've made my utility room look like an industrial hellscape for nothing

Cailin66 · 21/02/2025 18:18

A bidet in the bathroom, a kitchen island, a new dishwasher and a red room of pain.

Waystation · 21/02/2025 18:19

A city - with theatres, shops, restaurants and some life apart from cows and sheep.

countdown64 · 21/02/2025 18:20

A sea view!

IsItWickedNotToCare · 21/02/2025 18:20

A conservatory
A utility room
I have a bidet!!! It's great.

Differentstarts · 21/02/2025 18:20

A driveway and an en suite or just a bigger bathroom, I'd love a seperate shower rather then the shower over the bath as there isn't enough room for both

Lucytheloose · 21/02/2025 18:20

Staff.

HuckleberryBlackcurrant · 21/02/2025 18:22

I'd love a second bathroom. It's hard having just one as a family of five

MrsJRHartley · 21/02/2025 18:22

An outdoor, covered dog washing station.
