To be very weirded out by Elon Musks reproductive choices

I think he's up to twelve or thirteen children now with no sign of stopping and seems to have a very transactional approach to impregnating a series of women (presumably through IVF). It really speaks to looking at women as baby machines.
The colossal ego he has about maintaining his bloodline is so noxious.
I'm worried someone like him is so influential.
We'll be in the handmaid's tale before long.

He was (is) a pathologically lonely child...

BatchCookBabe · 15/02/2025 16:09

YANBU @FancyRedRobin There is something very worrying and odd about Elon Musk and everything he stands for, and how he and Trump are trying to take over the world. Sounds dramatic, but they fucking are! Confused DH and I call them Doctor Evil and Goldmember. All the satellites Musk keeps sending up, trying to buy/dominate other peoples countries, trying to get rid of anyone who isn't white, trying to stop abortion altogether, loathing people who are gay, thinking they rule the world... Terrifying! I am soooooooooooooo glad I don't live in America! Shock

BlusteryLake · 15/02/2025 15:57

That is untterably grim.

It is but how is that a reflection on EM?

TBH he seems to be doing a lot of good with his DOGE initiative and using his profile to speak out on issues around the world - the UK child rape and sexual abuse gangs for one.

What’s to hate about that?

Many unelected bodies and rich people influence politics - the have been concerns about the WEF, Bill Gates and George Soros to name but a few, and IMO they might be much more dangerous that EM. He’s pretty open about what he’s doing anyway.

Clocloxx · 15/02/2025 15:55

It was on America Newsweek published yesterday, Republicans proposed to ban morning after pill...

Thanks - looks like it's been voted down. But terrifying never the less.

The way he behaved over the cave incident tells me all I need to know about this man.

Agreed, before his tirade I thought of him as an eccentric but well meaning billionaire. After I realised he’s actually not that well meaning.

He isnt talking out about child rape and abuse gangs in the UK. He is speaking out about one demographic of child abuser.

Theres plenty others, of different ethnicities. But he isnt speaking out about those as well.

Why are you bothered? Is your own life so dull?

I don't find the fact that one of the richest men in the world, who also is now empowered to make government decisions in the US, treats women as objects to produce babies with "dull".

In Claire's case he also has arrangements to stop her from accessing her own children.

His immense influence over an entire country as an unelected person is something we should all be bothered about. If you’re disinterested in democracy then there’s plenty of other threads to post on.

Exactly. His influence is frightening.

lifeonmars100 · 15/02/2025 15:41

perhaps he should learn to knit or crochet! That might take his mind off world domination 😄

He has a whole compound in the desert only full of unfinished crafting projects.

soupyspoon · 15/02/2025 16:02

What relevance is it if he is ND?

He seems to show personality traits, such as rigid thinking and lack of empathy, that are prevalent in ASD people. That wouldn’t make him a great choice (combined with other factors e.g. family history) for being in a position to affect the lives of millions of people.

Definitely.. next they will be trying to ban birth control

Ang3leyes · 15/02/2025 16:29

I dont know what you expect us to say. It’s not nice but he’s autistic so he doesn’t see things in the same way, maybe this is how his autism effects him. he’s doing something right, he’s richer than our wildest dreams

I think my point is, he may have those traits becuase he is ND, or he may not have ND but he has those traits.

Its irrelevant. No you're right of course he isnt the best choice for leadership and influence over society and humanity but he has those traits regardless of any diagnosis (which he doesnt appear to have). however it has come about, his personality is hugely flawed and destructive. ND or not.

Alaimo · 15/02/2025 16:35

Elon's judgment overruled mine, and he was constantly remarking on the ways he found me lacking. "I am your wife," I told him repeatedly, "not your employee." "If you were my employee," he said just as often, "I would fire you."

Great guy!

I don’t think there was a massive cover up about those which is why there was a massive scandal about those that were.

TY78910 · 15/02/2025 15:30

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere before that he chooses to breed with 'beautiful and intelligent' women to populate the world with a 'supreme DNA'. Which just adds to his recent Nazi and other far right behaviours. Just a really nasty guy.

I mean I'm not even a fan of musk but moaning about this had always struck me as complete bullshit should he choose his baby mummas to be as ugly and unintelligent as possible to prove he's not a nazi/practising eugenics? Maybe throw some Huntington's disease into the mix, if you don't want to you're a nazi. I'm sure if we all did that the world would be a better place

We need fairly healthy babies and if their parents live in safe countries, are solvent and they can access education, they are the human beings that we are short of.

These are the sort of children with a massive carbon footprint who are destroying the planet.

Toddlerteaplease · 15/02/2025 16:38

I can't believe that he thinks taking young children into a meeting with world leaders is acceptable.

Very happy for you to elaborate and yes, I am very real.

Do you think I’m a bot or something?

Haroldwilson · 15/02/2025 16:41

I'd be willing to bet he believes in the great replacement theory and thinks white strongmen like himself should outbreed people with darker skin.

Depends how you describe 'cover up'. There are grooming gangs up and down the country but little to no action is taken because the girls cant or wont disclose, or they're viewed as 'trouble', its exactly the same, simply different ethnicities of perpetrator and victim

Oldglasses · 15/02/2025 16:42

I can't help but like him. I can understand why he wants to pass on his genes and it's not like he can't afford them?!

You like him? Why?

At the end of the day America is a banana republic but with money. Thats all. Absolutely zero statesmanship.

Sorry… but are you saying that if we chose to have kids without disabilities the world would be a better place? Because that’s really f*cked up.

It’s not entirely about his choice of woman to procreate with, it’s more about the public announcement of the why and the intention to breed ‘superior’ humans.
