To think Trump might be the right Leader for right now?

I am so confused why I am starting to think that Trump might be a good thing right now. I do think he is making the right moves to end conflict right now, which of course can only be a good thing for the poor people suffering in war zones but I’m so conflicted. I was trying to search for why I felt this way and what past war and future war situations might mean with Trump at the helm. Below are notes to myself. I know you educated, worldly wise mums will absolutely be able to educate on what I am missing. I am genuinely interested to hear your perspectives.

Why do wars start?
War is caused by many different things, including competition over land, religious conflicts, and nationalism. Imperialism, racism, and slavery have also been causes of armed conflict.
Why do wars end?
Realistically, wars usually end when one side wins or the parties experience significant war weariness. Thus, World War I was only a temporary end-of-war because there was no clear-cut victory.
We need to put an end to why wars start, not why wars end. Too much devastation and destruction and loss of life when a war starts. In this case, like the war in Gaza there has been no clear “winner” there has been constant and significant “war weariness” but some other country/political party/religious group steps in. However, there is still never a “clear-cut victory”
Tackle the issues that START wars and not STOP wars in the first place. A true leader will make their priority tackling all the issues that start wars. Trump needs to prove himself in this approach.
That said, we are in a very volatile world and ENDING wars is the first priority. Trump appears to have that in his sights. I say this as far left viewer of the world, as opposed to the right take on the world, as it is today.
I don’t care if you are left or right or somewhere in between. War must end now and we must have a leader who can figure out how to stop it happening again. The end. The Leader who can STOP wars happening in the first place, is the one who can save humanity. Right now, we need the wars to end, and like it or not, that is the position we find ourselves in, and that’s why, I currently think it might be Trump.

Anyone have any idea who is the leader who can STOP wars happening in the first place? I’m thinking they would need to be free from corruption and probably not an egotistical, power hungry male.

until i read the intelligence files then ill know for sure what is true or not, until then id say its unlikely but there must be a strategy behind why trump is saying it plus we dont have spies to just drink martinis.

Trump doesn’t have a strategy about anything. Hes ranting about Ukraine not having had recent elections - they can’t - they are at war and their electoral commission agrees that they can’t be held when millions are displaced or under Russian occupation.
What about Russia not having fair elections?

i love how the public think they suddenly know more than what trumps intelligence services know, and trumps advisors etc and how the public base their views on what they see in the media,

so all the cold war era espionage that went on, all the propaganda that went on,
do people think that stuff never happens any more, do people thing oh james bond era cold war relics of a bygone era, oh how everyone is now fully truthful and our lovley mass media all tell the public the truth, theres no lies and deception in the modern era ect.

everything now because of the media must be 100 truthful, why not disband the security services then if people dont think espionage happens any more ??

but thats part of the issue its because of what the media say we believe, who's to say its not a strategy in it self,

even Machiavelli wrote back in da vinci;s time, in the book the prince, you have to play the role of the joker at times and seem dumber than your opponents etc.

do people study different political strategics or books like Machiavelli the prince or sun tzu the art of war etc

or does everyone just believe what they read in the mass media ???

No I don’t believe everything I read in the media although I don’t live in the UK but I listen to Trump’s press appearances and hear the garbage which comes out of his month.

Hmmm I'm generally a trump fan but he is so ruthless Zelensky has been an amazing president, it's hard to see this happening to him :-(

its just i dont believe any of the media, because history has shown what we get told via the media etc can be very different to what is the true truth

and its puzzling how the public or some of them read a news article and suddenly they think they are experts on eg trump etc

Trump needs to butt out of countries which don’t want his input. You can’t resolve the war in Ukraine but excluding Ukraine from the talks. The US and Russia can agree what they want but it’s pointless without Ukraine’s involvement.

I loathe Trump, but I acknowledge that he speaks to some people's concerns.

That said, given that Trump has made clear (for some years now) that is sympathetic to Russia, against NATO and would not give Europe any assistance were it attacked, I can't get my head around Euopeans liking him. Even if you like aspects of his politics, and would be happy for him to be your country's leader, I don't understand how, as a European, you can like someone who is arguably the largest security threat Europe has seen since WW2.
