AIBU to ask what your Wordl started word is?

Just that! I had such a great run and now I seem to have hit a wall. Do you use the same one every time? Do you ever use pen and paper alongside? It's cheeky I know I'm being unreasonable I'm also just curious!

I always pick something different.

This is exactly what I do! Sometimes it takes longer to think of a pertinent word (with no double letters in it) than it does to do Wordle!

A friend has a WhatsApp gp with her family, and they take it in turns to choose a word that they all start with. I like that approach too.

"Adieu" so I have as many vowels as I can get in one word

I will add - I chose Tread then Pious because I thought not one does it cover all vowels and common consonants, I thought because I had R, D and S it would also be good for 5 letter words that are a variation of a 4 letter word.
Eg a plural of a 4 letter noun, (eg 'rocks')
A conjugated 4 letter verb (eg jumps)
A past participle of a 4 letter verb that ends in E so it only needs an extra D (eg Rated)
Or - don't know the grammar term but when you add ER or R to a verb to make it the subject who does the verb (eg RATER)

However, apparently Wordle words are never 4 letter words with an extra letter added for a grammatical reason, they're always true 5 letter words (according to a video I saw in TikTok)

I’m such a boring player beast, rough, windy then I can normally work it out. It’s boring I don’t know why zI bother sometimes. I was still annoyed when we had a power cut / no phone signal and I’ve lost my streak.

I always start with IRATE, its worked once as the winning word then I use POUND as my second word

But recently I've been changing daily and try and pick a topical one for my life

I use any word beginning with S and with 2 vowels in.

I've tried audio, adieu, etc, but I can't seem to find words afterwards that easily!

Crane, then pious if I don't get any vowels from crane or split if I do. My average score at the moment is 3.5.

Current favourite is CRIME.

Got it in 1 twice in a week a year or so ago. It was surprisingly unsatisfying as I actually really enjoy puzzling it out.

Mine are totally random. I even try double letters sometimes, mostly when drunk-Wordling. I once got three consecutive 2s using words on the cover of the book I was reading at the time. I stopped sharing after day 2 because I felt it was starting to look a bit suss. I quickly returned to less dazzling form after that.
