The KKK is feeling pretty empowered

Princessconsuelabananahammock9 · 22/01/2025 17:23

This is what happens when a man like Donald Trump gets in power.

These are the people who feel empowered.

While MN celebrates the " only two genders ", people of colour in Kentucky are scared.

I've seen threads on here wishing the UK had Trump. Is this really what you want?

Is this really the type of people you want in power?

Those that voted for Trump over trans issues, what about shit like this? Or women dying from lack of abortion access? Or climate change? Or the casual revisiting of gay marriage rights?

According to GLAAD all resources referencing LGBTQ and HIV have been removed from the White House website. Gay, lesbian, no results come up in the search.

" Pages removed include WhiteHouse.gov’s equity report (no longer accessible), a fact sheet with information on expanding access to HIV prevention and treatment (no longer accessible), and information about LGBTQ Pride Month (no longer accessible). Agency page removals include Department of State’s LGBTQ rights (no longer accessible), and Department of Labor’s LGBTQ workers page (no longer accessible). "

This is scary shit. I don't get how any one envies?

KKK distributes flyers in Kentucky telling immigrants to ‘leave now’

Documents, including phone number and invitation to ‘join us’, distributed same day Trump took office

From past posts, I think that poster you're conversing with has an issue with LGBT flags.
The T in general.

"Black men are absolutely disproportionately represented in jails.

"Black people absolutely face more police brutality than other races.

I'm not going to argue that fact because it is literally a fact."

Saying something is a fact doesn't make it a fact. Your claim isn't even specific enough to be tested as factual.

It's a one track mind with some on here, it's fruitless engaging.
Even when it comes to talking about discrimination when it comes to people who are black/other minority groups it always comes down to trans for some.
So much so they can post glib comments like the one you're quoting with a straight face.
You might be flabbergasted by them, I'm sadly not.

Therein lays the issue. Your facts do not pass scrutiny and can & have been disproven just in this thread alone. If using your theory the majority of the population have no common sense and are conspiracy theorists, then it suggests you are the one behaving outside of the norm.

It makes me think of the story of the Scottish mother attending her sons army passing out parade, and exclaiming 'will ye look at that, there all oot of step but oor Johnny'.

"Christ no one is saying that women aren't present at all in any professions! Yes there are some brilliant female politicians. But there are far more male politicians. So are men just better than women at politics or is there bias in the selection of our politicians?

If there was genuinely no bias, and women are as capable as men, you would expect the selection rate of men and women for these jobs to be roughly 50:50 but it isn't.

Is that because men are just better than women or is it because there is bias towards men in our society?"

Women's disadvantage in society is far more complex than "not being selected" for certain jobs. I suggest you go educate yourself

I have an issue with any flag representing a specific group being on a government building. I even have an issue with a flag with suffragette colours being flown.

It is not that hard to understand. While some groups have flags flown and are supported in this way, others don’t. Therefore it is a form of discrimination that I don’t support.

Yes - claiming your opinion is a fact and everyone else is nuts is not a winning argument

If said 'minority' is large enough to elect the leader of the largest democracy in the world, can they really be called a minority?

I wouldn't take any notice of 'feminists' who don't believe in discrimination against women.

You've even got people swearing up and down that there's no institutional racism, contrary to many reports proving there is.

There's a lot of frothing over initiatives to employ those traditionally discriminated against, usually by white men who feel hard done by.

You're on a hiding to nothing.

What you may call prejudice is another man/womans return to common sense.

Of course the other side of that coin is that a now noisy minority have claimed discrimination, where the majority are saying that isn't the case.

Go back to my post earlier. If only one person in the passing out parade is out of time, is he the one who is correct and everyone else wrong? Or could it be that just perchance, he is the incorrect one.

This
It's not a good thing that prejudice is on the rise and more emboldened.

What are you referring to exactly, there?
Putting black people "back in their place?"
Trans people to "stop" being trans and confirm to your "right" way for men and women?
Gay people to stop "defying nature and family roles?"
Lots of people have problems with those I listed, including those who voted for Trump. At least come out and say what bit you think is common sense, please? Unless your prejudice is towards another group?

If you wish to go back through my previous posts in this thread I believe it gives exactly my beliefs. None of which are discrimanatory in the eyes of the majority I believe.

Very simple, men can't become women so why would we pretend they can?

But those are statistical facts. Lol

Why are you being so obtuse?
