To be annoyed at the lack of bathrooms

Applecharm25 · 20/01/2025 13:39

I have my period. I can feel that i need to change my tampon.

I'm out walking round my city. There are no public bathrooms anywhere near me.

I see a sign for a bathroom in a small shopping centre near me. I walk in. The bathroom is actually in a shop. I'm told that the bathroom is only available for paying customers.

So now I have to get in a long queue and wait further and buy something while I really need to change my tampon.

Surely there should be better toilet services available.

Same thing.

Troll hunting is bullying someone.

Edited

No it's not 🤣

Plastictrees · 21/01/2025 10:26

People are just humouring you OP. You seem to have a severe victim complex. Are you planning on spending the rest of your day goading posters and being passive aggressive on this thread, whilst claiming you are being bullied? Just drop the rope and move on.

This is the most batshit thread I’ve seen in ages.

There's batshit again.

'Batshit' is definitely the go - to word of the mumsnet bullies.

Proof of where I've bullied you please?

No it's not 🤣

And she didn't just get some of her posts removed for troll hunting.

I reported some of her posts for "personal attack'reasons.

And those posts of hers have been deleted.

But that doesn't mean that's why MN deleted them

ChicLilacSeal · 21/01/2025 10:32

OP, I'm just going to repeat my post here, in case you didn't see it, but the way I have dealt with this is to go to a hotel. They usually have loos on the ground floor, in the lobby. Are there any hotels in your city that you could use next time? My town has very few public loos and none at all in the eastern part of the town, so the two hotels in that part have proved extremely handy for me.

I just wanted to post again in case it's an idea you hadn't thought of, so as to help you not get caught out again.

They wouldn't delete them if they didn't break talk guidelines.

I've reported some of your worst posts too.

I was talking to people in private messages last night about this thread , as a lot of us were really shocked about it. At the level and depth of bullying

I really want to stand up to bullies and not take abuse, and i want to set a good example to other women on here that you can stand up to bullies.

Right let's get into it.

I said it's possible to change a tampon and not wee at the same time.

Are you saying that's wrong?

Because it's right.

Nobody denied that. Lots of people said it is very very common to use the toilet when also changing a tampon. You then accused them of not understanding that bladders and uteruses are not that same thing.

Nobody claimed anything otherwise, just gave you lots of examples of why a toilet is useful in the vast majority of times a woman will need to change a tampon.

You took people saying it is useful to be able to go to the loo as posters saying it's impossible to change a tampon without a toilet and started lecturing them on the biology they had in fact not demonstrated any ignorance of.

WillowBed · 21/01/2025 10:34

My god, I've never seen a bigger example of a cry bully than the OP. Seriously, read back what you've written!

No that's not what happened.

Anyone can read back and see what actually happened.

Yes, they can. And have. And I don't think anyone agrees with you about your interpretation of other posts and your attempts to patronise by talking about biology.

Yes hotels are a good idea. There wasn't one near me when I needed to go yesterday.

I'm sorry that your town has very few public loos aswell.

They definitely need a lot more public toilets in the UK

Please point out my "worst posts" because every post you've quoted of mine whilst screaming "bully!" at me has not been bullying or even looked like bullying

You are not setting a good example to anyone on this thread. Your attitude is awful. You're rude and aggressive and refuse to engage with people who are trying to understand your point. You are dismissive. You call people bullies for disagreeing with you. You blatantly lied and refuse to acknowledge it. It's pretty much textbook "what not to do" tbh

Hurrah, we finally have something we can all agree on. That could have been your OP and all this silliness could have been avoided.

ChicLilacSeal · 21/01/2025 10:39

The posters who sometimes change their tampons/pads without also going for a wee must have young, strong bladders! 😂

Applecharm25 · 21/01/2025 10:47

Right I'm getting off mumsnet to go and meet a friend.

For the people who asked am I working. I'm working Wednesday to Sunday, this week.
Not everyone works Mon to Fri. Today is tue and it's my day off.

I'll leave you to talk about bathrooms.

And bathroom is definitely a word that is used in the UK!
