To be annoyed at the lack of bathrooms

I have my period. I can feel that i need to change my tampon.

I'm out walking round my city. There are no public bathrooms anywhere near me.

I see a sign for a bathroom in a small shopping centre near me. I walk in. The bathroom is actually in a shop. I'm told that the bathroom is only available for paying customers.

So now I have to get in a long queue and wait further and buy something while I really need to change my tampon.

Surely there should be better toilet services available.

There are several where you quite snarkily have said to women about biology like they don't know their womb and bladder are 2 different things (almost the direct quote in fact)

I shouldn't have engaged really, but I hate to see this kind of thing!

It's not lies, you have numerous times said that to women who've said that THEY and many people they know do need to pee when they change a tampon. You know you have. You don't seem to have great reading comprehension or a great memory for your own actions it seems.

This makes zero sense.

A shop would not advertise a 'bathroom' (unless it was selling bathroom fittings)
It would say WC, Toilets, or even Ladies and Gents.

They definitely would not have a sign saying 'bathroom' if it was only for customers in the shop.

Are you sure you didn't misunderstand OP? That's the only explanation that is credible.

As we know, our womb and our bladder are two different things.

I think you're a man, as every woman knows that periods and urine are two completely separate things.

Bladder and womb are not connected to each other in any way shape or form.

But she still can need to change her tampon and not need to wee at all.

You don't need to go for a wee when you change a tampon. They are different things.
They are not connected.
Tampons are designed that you can wee when tampons are inserted.

As I pointed out, no shop would advertise a 'bathroom' in a shopping centre unless they allowed public use of it. It makes no sense.

What kind of shop was it that signposted to a 'bathroom' but made people buy something first? (This is in a city by the way where there must be zillions of other options.)

You sound quite petulant- stamping your foot and getting cross because you want to change your tampon NOW and the world isn't revolving around that.

As an adult woman, used to dealing with periods for decades (we assume) this should not be a major issue.

If, on the other hand, this was about the overall lack of public toilets that are an issue for people with serious bowel or bladder conditions, yes, fully support that.
