When I was growing up, documentaries and newsclips, often referenced and featured footage of Nuremberg rallies or the 33 Olympics and the audience, including me, would wonder "how the hell did that happen? All those people. How?" And there would generally be an assurance that this could never happen again. But apparently it can. I'm hoping the techbros are just joking and will stage a coup.
