Aibu in thinking this is gross. You don't need a bra to produce fake nipples. For what, so men look at you?

I didn’t say that they aren’t, I said they aren’t (inherently) sexual.

You really did say 'they aren't' 😆. No nuance or ambiguity in what you posted.

Characterbuilding · 16/01/2025 17:48

@squirrelnutcartel "women aren't responsible for how men behave" is the only thing of value you have said...

1457bloom · 16/01/2025 18:01

So you wear this bra and meet a man who thinks you have perfect nips, end up in bed, the bra comes off and.... the guy feels duped, how sad.

Kimke · 16/01/2025 18:06

I think it's like shapewear, you can manipulate men and get attention from having bullet nipples use it to your advantage and then go home alone. It's sad but true that men treat women they want to fuck better, and that is mainly down to a woman's body rather than her smarts or even face.
What I don't understand is losing your own nipples and then wanting to wear these, surely that's very upsetting?! I get prosthetic bras but these bras are about looking sexy for mens eyes. A woman on tiktok lost her breasts to cancer and she's been focusing on the sexiness and sensuality of legs and arse instead.

You said

Nipples aren’t sexual. They are for feeding babies

Either way, they are used in both situations

They aren’t inherently sexual. Mouths are used for eating but can also be used sexually.

I didn’t say they aren’t sexualised- it’s quite easy to see from the quote history.

ssd · 16/01/2025 18:18

Yuck. Thank god I'm not young.

Kimke · 16/01/2025 18:28

Imagine wearing this with a tight white top, unbuttoned blazer and trousers suit as you give a work presentation or interview. You'd never find a more focused audience. Or walking around in a tight top, all the men smiling and opening doors. Such friendly, nice men, sometimes with their wife on their side too.

Fwiw my nipples only stick out when im cold or PMSing. They dont get hard on arousal 🤷‍♀️

NBollocks · 16/01/2025 18:34

l have no nipples after a double mastectomy for cancer. It’s bloody weird tbh. I have nhs nipple illusion tattoos that help make my naked reflection less freaky. But the big advantage is that I don’t get nipples showing through clothes even on cold days. The idea that cancer patients are buying these horrible sex-doll bras is ridiculous.

Characterbuilding · 16/01/2025 18:46

@squirrelnutcartel your posts are contradictory and lacking critical reasoning. You don't blame women but somehow they are simultaneously to blame for other women not being taken seriously or being harmed because "they lay it all out in a plate" and men can't control themselves.
If I held the opinion that the degradation and violation of women on account of what they are wearing is akin to losing personal property due to an unlocked door, I would probably keep that opinion to myself...

ScholesPanda · 16/01/2025 18:50

SecretSoul · 16/01/2025 06:38

When we’re sexually aroused, nipples harden so erect nipples are considered to be an erotic sight. That’s much more so the case than just cleavage. Hard nipples directly suggest sexual arousal.

Deliberately simulating hard nipples is a way of conveying that you’re in a state of sexual arousal.

When we get general items of clothing being sold that simulate an erect male penis I’ll reconsider my views on this.

Until then I’ll continue to consider this type of clothing as typically misogynistic and sleazy.

Please God no! I don't need to be thwacked in the thigh with a fake erection whilst I wonder around the supermarket 😳

Deadringer · 16/01/2025 18:57

When I was young thin, silky type bras were fashionable so nipples were always quite 'prominent'. I never thought much about it, everyone has nipples so I never saw any particular reason to hide them. Then t-shirt style bras came in and nipples disappeared, my dds wouldn't wear a bra that didn't have some sort of padding. I don't personally think that nipples need to be hidden, but a bra with fake ones seems daft to me.

ThoroughlyModernNotMillie · 16/01/2025 19:06

Sureitwont · 16/01/2025 17:39

So visible nipples (natural or fake - since the viewer doesn’t know) means men will view a woman solely as someone up for sex with anyone who wants it??

A previous poster was right… some of these comments are the sort of shit incels spout.

If a woman wears this bra with the t shirt shown on the website, or wears the the same t shirt with no bra and twiddles her nipples to make them stick out as much as they do on the website, or if her nipples stick out that much of their own accord and wears that t shirt, then yes, I do think that any man would think that she is that type of woman, what used to be called"easy".
There is no reason that anyone would wear that t shirt and bra or no bra and not want men to look at their tits. And what other reason would you want men to look right at your tits, without knowing anything else about you, whether you're funny, intelligent, witty, great company etc, other than to want to make them desire you sexually.
Of course it's up to women how they behave, but dressing like that is cheap, tarty and slaggy. Presumably those women like to be thought of like that and enjoy it.
I just thank god that I don't know any women, young or old, in my family and friends who think, that the most important things about themselves are their breasts and nipples and who want to show them off to all and sundry.
I'm hardly an incel, I'm a 60 year old highly educated woman who has been married and given birth.

Kimke · 16/01/2025 19:30

I feel like if we're ascribing moral character to real hard nipples visible, which can't be helped (mine show even in padded bras and jumpers) and isn't necessarily linked to arousal then where does that leave us with mini skirts or short shorts or crop tops that show that body part all the time and can be equally or more easily obscured from the male gaze than breasts? All the female body is sexualised down to our toes and most fashion is about packaging and presenting women to look as fertile and delictable as possible for men's benefit.

Characterbuilding · 16/01/2025 19:37

@ThoroughlyModernNotMillie your post is disgusting and egregious. I'm shocked any intelligent woman thinks like this or refers to women in the way you do. It also screams cultural bias and secularism. Many other countries do not view the presence of covered nipples (or indeed even uncovered) as a "slur" on the woman in question. Some scandinavian countries have saunas where it is unusual for either gender to be clothed at all. Natural bodies just existing are not thought of as sexual. This is also true of some tribal cultures. So maybe some of these supposedly "enlightened" western countries (where the mere sight of a woman just existing in a t-shirt makes her "easy" if her nipples show) should re-evaluate how they raise their men. Unfortunately from your post that seems to includes the men you know otherwise how would you have formed this opinion? Maybe if women spent less time apologising for the actions of their sons, brothers and husbands women might stand a chance. I find bras uncomfortable and pointless, so do many of my elders. None of my sons, their friends or any other man I would bother to associate with holds such asinine views. If they did I would shut that down immediately, indeed with my boys I don't tolerate sexist talk at all. Your post is insulting to normal men as well as women.

You're deluded if you think that your husband or son wouldn't notice a woman walking along who was wearing that bra and t shirt and whose breasts looked like those on the models in the skims page, and make a judgement on what kind of woman she was. They certainly won't think of every single woman as being equally worthy oftheir respect. Because they are presumably intelligent educated, civilised and considerate men, they wouldn't tell you or their wives or girlfriends at that minute what they actually thought about that woman and what kind of woman she was. However I can almost guarantee that if they weren't that kind of man they'd say their thoughts out loud, or if they were in a group of only men they would probably say it too. All the men I know are wonderful men, great husbands, partners and sons, who value their wives, mothers, daughters, friends, and colleagues as complete equals and that includes my own adult son who is married to an amazing woman who happens to have very large breasts. But in the more than a decade I've known her she has never worn anything even remotely like the t shirts on those models and I've never seen her nipples showing like that either. If you showed that bra and the pictures of the models in the t shirts to your son and his friends and your husband and asked them what their reaction would be if they saw her walking around like that, I think you might get some interesting answers.
As for your comments about cultural bias, well I live in the UK and am British, so have British attitudes. Whether women in other countries go round with their breasts on display is irrelevant, in the UK that isn't the norm.

Slutty clothing and presentation is undignified and nasty.

I've literally spoke to women who have.

Just because it's ridiculous for you, doesn't mean the same stands for everyone. I'm literally just passing on something I was told when I was also of the same mindset re: these bras.

However, truth be told, I think let people wear what the fuck they want.

Hmm no, what's quite easy to see from the quote history is that you made a blanket statement with which everyone commenting disagreed, so you then tried to back track.
I cba to discuss it any more.

Kimke · 17/01/2025 07:07

I looked on their website to see the t shirts mentioned in some posts and it reminded me of when young women have nipple piercings and you get 3 'nipples' per tit poking at you 😆

100%.

So what do women have at the moment,... Fake nipples so men look at your tits and have a wank, Bonny Blue with her disgusting sex life on show, Lily Phillips who isn't quite right in the head either and copying her. Fake asses. Camel toes and shows your ass in your LinkedIn pics.

Men meanwhile do what. ....

It doesn’t matter what their main and primary functions are, they are sexualised. I don’t know why you keep coming back saying the same thing…
