Aibu in thinking this is gross. You don't need a bra to produce fake nipples. For what, so men look at you?

I think that men wear joggers or tight suit trousers to emphasise their packages, sometimes

No-one complains about that

I do. I was trying to eat a sausage roll on the train this morning and it put me right off. The only persons knob I want to see is my partner’s. Plus even if someone has a penis the size of a French stick I’m not going to be interested in them solely for that reason because I am a normal person and attraction is a weird thing!

Just seems to me that there are more and more devices to make women seem like a piece of meat with a couple of holes in it and someone has to say that this isn’t a good thing.

Good to emphasises your nips if you have nice ones.

What defines “nice nipples”?

DurinsBane · 16/01/2025 10:36

thistlepiedpiper · 16/01/2025 00:47

But what is the point of them? They've been around for ages now and still, I don't understand them. Is it a bra, which gives the illusion of perky tits without a bra?

Yeah, pretty much

You should've bitten into the sausage roll while making eye contact with him 🤭

I honestly don't see the big deal with sexuality being expressed but I guess someone's nipples poking out during the morning rush hour would be weird

Yeah let the boys know you’re feeling sexual 🙄

Disturbia81 · 16/01/2025 10:40

@Rivett Yep another way of sexualising women for the female gaze. All while we're trying to get women to be less objectified. I bet young men are confused growing up

Disturbia81 · 16/01/2025 10:41

Male* gaze

Exactly!

But surely this doesn't? If you want to show your nipples just wear a thin or padded bra, or none if you've little boobage.

It's almost hilariously weird. Women are often shamed if they dare show their real nipples but then these fake items are being sold?

ErrolTheDragon · 16/01/2025 10:47

Yeah let the boys know you’re feeling sexual 🙄

Even if you're not!

Isn't that also the point (lol) of blusher?

TheTruthHurtsDontIt · 16/01/2025 10:52

This isn't new man, we had stick on nips in the 90's. Who cares. If men can walk around with their guts and moobs hanging out for all to see, let a woman flash a nip.

hamsandyams · 16/01/2025 10:54

I actually find this trend quite liberating. I have spent years wearing a bra or layers just so that my nipples are not on show through my clothes.

Now it is fashionable/sexy, I’m saving myself the time and effort and my nipples are often visible through my clothes (I prefer not to wear a bra most days) and just not worrying about it. I can guarantee it’s nothing to do with appeasing men and everything to do with not spending undue time and effort on my appearance.

It’s also just part of the 90s fashion resurgence - nipples are very 90s if you watch TV or films from that time. What’s sad is that girls think their own nipples are not good enough and so need to buy this bra to have ‘perfect’ nipples.

Rivett · 16/01/2025 11:04

Dandylione · 16/01/2025 10:52

🤣 I can’t imagine many men would be nudging their mates saying “Deek the blusher on her”

ItGhoul · 16/01/2025 11:06

Ironically, the way you talk about women is really misogynistic. You're talking about women in the same way incels do.

Women are allowed to enjoy feeling sexy. Women are allowed to do whatever makes them feel sexy. What's wrong with a woman, or a man for that matter, enjoying attention? We don't have to be invisible.

You might not get a kick out of being looked at. That's fine. But some women do. And that's also fine. It's certainly not something they're doing because they think they have to please men. They're doing it because they like it.

I wouldn't wear a bra with fake nipples, personally. It's not my thing. But I definitely dress in a way that makes me personally feel sexy and I know that there are men (and women) who are attracted to the kind of look I tend to favour - my DP, for one! (There are also plenty who hate it, just like there are plenty of men who hate the Kardashian style.) If I look in the mirror and feel attractive, I feel more confident and happy. If that also means some men might look at me and think 'She's sexy', that's fine. I don't mind at all. I don't need their attention; I'm not looking for a partner. But provided I don't get catcalled or harassed I'm perfectly fine with men looking at me and thinking 'She looks sexy'. I certainly pass men in the street sometimes and think 'Blimey, he's hot' so I don't see what's wrong with a man passing me and thinking something similar.

nam3c4ang3 · 16/01/2025 11:07

They will sell their souls for money won’t they 😂😂

ThatMerryReader · 16/01/2025 11:12

It's the Kardashians, what do you expect?

MyNamesGaryAndImAddictedToChips · 16/01/2025 11:17

I was expecting more Trekkies on this thread.

Devilsmommy · 16/01/2025 11:36

Never found stipples to be a good look but obviously I must be wrong if the Kardashian's say otherwise 😂

There’s a difference though between dressing in a way which makes you feel confident and sexy, and looking like you’re constantly aroused.

Plus surely it’s not just a personal choice you have to consider other people. My boss might feel completely confident and sexy walking around the office wearing a fake dildo shoved in his pants, or having his real penis on show but I wouldn’t like it.

And in the real world if you wear this for a meeting or even out for drinks, how many people (men or women) would be thinking, that’s a good point, or she’s got a nice face. They are designed for effect- to pinpoint the one area I for one have had to pull men up for staring at on multiple occasions.

I can just see the incel crowd “well if women don’t want us to stare at their tits why has this bra been made. They love it”. It’s just sexualising daily life and, especially since it’s the Kardashians, giving women and girls another reason to think that they are no more than the sum of their tits/ arse/ vagina.

CaptainNoBeardButAParrot · 16/01/2025 12:13

This is gross and whats the point.

Attract a man. Go to bed. He takes of your bra. "Oh".

You'll feel so good about yourself.

MumblesParty · 16/01/2025 12:35

Rollse · 16/01/2025 06:53

Nipples aren’t sexual. They are for feeding babies.

Why are topless pictures seen as erotic if breasts are purely functional?

MumblesParty · 16/01/2025 12:40

As someone mentioned earlier, erect nipples are a sign of arousal, so this bra is designed to get attention by making people (mostly men) think you’re sexual aroused . It’s basically a low level equivalent of the famous When Harry Met Sally scene. If women want to walk around Tesco looking like they’re turned on, why not go the whole way and starting gasping in fake ecstasy too?!!

squirrelnutcartel · 16/01/2025 12:41

I think it's cheap and nasty. Things like this just encourage men to think of us as fuck toys. Feeling sexy? Yeah, save it for the nightclub or the bedroom. The 'cool girls' will be bending over the freezer section in Tesco inviting anyone in next. It's like something out of a wildlife documentary. Just don't forget that whilst they're checking you out, they're also checking out young teenagers too because they expect all females to be up for it. Men don't need encouraging. This public hypersexualisation needs dialing back because it's dragging all girls and women into it's nasty net. Sure, men should have self control and not assault, attack or grope, but if they get the message it's okay to be constantly sexually aroused then any female is game.

Ohlawdnotagain · 16/01/2025 12:48
