Kardasians selling nipples

Aibu in thinking this is gross. You don't need a bra to produce fake nipples. For what, so men look at you?

I’m fed up with sex constantly being pushed into the public arena. And no I don’t want to get into any pointless debates about how nipples aren’t sexual, or be accused of pearl clutching or whatever other excuses will be made that encourage the erosion of public standards of decency

I think society is changing tbh and we're gonna see a more religious and conservative way of dressing

Im steadfastly against it tbh but you're not alone in your thinking

I think it's sexy but not everyone will agree

My boob's are too big to get away with it, but I think the slender fashion girls emphasising their nappies is cool and chic if done right

Hilarious. 😂

There's nothing cool or chic about this. If a Kardashian is involved, it's cheap and tacky.

ArcticBells · 16/01/2025 06:01

I've spent my entire lifetime trying to hide my pesky prominent nipples

MJconfessions · 16/01/2025 06:01

I can’t get worked up about this and I don’t understand the controversy tbh. Bras are an item of clothing that are often used to make boobs look as sexy as possible, there’s so much vulgar lingerie out there that this seems quite tame in comparison! There are push up bras that add 2 sizes etc.

I had a look on their website and they market this for a “perky, braless look”. It is also a push up bra. So I’m assuming it’s to imitate what women with perky boobs look like braless, as others may feel uncomfortable going braless due to sagging perhaps - this bra gives lift too. I’m not saying it’s a super common use case, but if you want to wear it around your partner it’s fine.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 16/01/2025 06:05

I think it can look good if you've got the right look 🤷‍♀️

MJconfessions · 16/01/2025 06:06

AmusedAzureZebra · 16/01/2025 00:48

No it's so women can get attention and people looking at their boobs like a fucking weirdo

But this is Kim Kardashian’s company, so why are you surprised? Why are you taken back by this bra, considering it’s something Kim would wear and matches her own style? She obviously likes flaunting her boobs, these antics shouldn’t be remarkable. Like you can’t expect a leopard to lose it’s spots.

I’m not necessarily in favour of a huge return to religious or conservative dressing. I’m just tired of feeling like I’m on a boat and the media is pushing me off a waterfall. A few years back there was a clear separation between adult content and the public arena and now the boundary is constantly being blurred with chat bots are desperately trying to shut down debate

I'm not saying I disagree with you by the way when I ask this but define 'slag'?

Yourfootisinmysirachamayo · 16/01/2025 06:22

I like them 🤷‍♀️ I must be a slag lol

Heronwatcher · 16/01/2025 06:28

I’m sure I’ll be accused of being a prude but such obvious perky nipples on show would just make me feel completely embarrassed! Totally understand it happens naturally to some people but to do it deliberately just seems weird! Why do it unless it’s for the utter pervs imagining you aroused 24/7?

It does also just seem to be yet another example of women making themselves look like sex dummies- I can hardly imagine a judge in the Supreme Court or a surgeon choosing this. It’s one thing to highlight your boobs with a decent bra so they don’t look saggy, quite another to make it look like you’re constantly gagging for it. Which many men believe anyway, thanks to the likes of Andrew Tate etc.

Slags 😄😄 fucking hell

Some women like sex and to look sexy - it's okay it won't kill you. I was saying to a pp that were experiencing a return to a society that shames women for existing and this is what I meant

Theunamedcat · 16/01/2025 06:38

Sounds like they have been watching reruns of sex in the city

SecretSoul · 16/01/2025 06:38

When we’re sexually aroused, nipples harden so erect nipples are considered to be an erotic sight. That’s much more so the case than just cleavage. Hard nipples directly suggest sexual arousal.

Deliberately simulating hard nipples is a way of conveying that you’re in a state of sexual arousal.

When we get general items of clothing being sold that simulate an erect male penis I’ll reconsider my views on this.

Until then I’ll continue to consider this type of clothing as typically misogynistic and sleazy.

Amybelle88 · 16/01/2025 06:39

@AmusedAzureZebra yes they do. I haven't just read this online, I've heard it from the women themselves.

Amybelle88 · 16/01/2025 06:40

@thistlepiedpiper I didn't say they were targetted at them, I said they buy them.

LoudSnoringDog · 16/01/2025 06:46

I LOATHE with every fibre of my being, the fucking Kardashian's. They are EVERYTHING that is wrong with society. Vacuous, fake plastic beings who have contributed nothing other than brainwashing already beautiful young girls into believing that you need to look like you have had a new head transplant in order to be accepted.
God awful fucking family.

Eugh just what the world needs right now ‘sexy’ pretend nipples to purchase 🤦‍♀️

We’ve all got them and most try to hide them when it’s cold! I wish rich famous celebs would put their time and effort in to positive things for young women FFS

Edited

I have fully inverted nipples so mine will never show. I still don't think I'd buy this bra

Nipples aren’t sexual. They are for feeding babies.

Come on get real. You think that everyone who sees someone wearing this will assume she’s got a hungry newborn at home? Context is everything.

Rollse · 16/01/2025 06:53

They are for feeding babies but they are also highly sensitive and appealing so yes they are also sexual. Why do you think page 3 models were a thing and why this bra exists? They have more than one function.

Dandylione · 16/01/2025 07:22

Funnily enough I thought of codpieces as soon as I saw this bra! I think the pp who said bras are often designed to make breasts look more attractive is spot on. Not something I would buy but so what?

It's obviously designed to make eye wearer look sexy but so are lots of items of (mostly female) clothing. Can't see this is an more scandalous than a bodycon dress or a pencil skirt and it's not doing the wearer any harm unlike wearing heels which are also about looking sexually attractive.
