Or is it borderline offensive? I like to swear as well as the next person but this just sounds so crude and awful. I can imagine if you're a bit hard of hearing then you'd be quite shocked.

I don't often get annoyed by this type of thing but this is really winding me up at the moment.

It’s a bit like the French Connection advertising in the early 2000s, the FCUK thing. Used to really annoy me.

I agree and love swearing but I hate this advert!

YANBU. I really don't like to hear it.

I hate it and the nasty attitude of the family in it. It’s definitely aimed at the ‘cheap sun’ people who think 2-3 holidays a year are essential. I hate holidays that are just lying on a beach so I know I’m not the target audience.

I find the concept of "filling your boots" in the airport lounge pretty grim, also.

TBH, there seems to be a fashion for advertisers to be pointing and laughing at their customers lately. This advert is one such - the family are portrayed badly. I really don't get it - why are you being so sneery towards your customer base? Surely this backfires on them?

Edited to add, the lowest point was kitchen roll Plenty’s “Juan Sheet” character. I’m not going to quote but just revolting.

I assume by offensive, @DogInATent means an offense to good taste. Until the swearing I wouldn't have called them offensive so much as tasteless and tacky and shite.

Only ad I've ever been tempted to report is the specsavers radio ad 'should have gone to specsavers' with the dad driving around lost with his child.

Driving with such poor eyesight you get lost with a small child in the car is NOT funny.

So glad it's not just me. I don't think any advert has ever got on my nerves as much! As soon as I hear the music I switch to a different radio station. Didn't even know who it was advertising until I saw your post!

I also can’t stand the Air B&B advert (I think it is) the song they use at the end has swear words muted but you can obviously tell what they’re meant to be.

These type of cheap tacky adverts make me absolutely refuse to use the product. If they can't think of a better way to attract me then I presume it's a shite holiday
