AIBU? Wedding makeup artist and friend

I get married in August, and I've booked a hair and makeup artist to do myself ( bride ), 4 bridesmaid and mother of the bride & mother of the grooms hair and makeup.

One of our guests, young female ( in 30s - not that it matters, but trying to get its not one of my mums 60 yo mates )

Messaged because she used to live in Marbella, where we are getting married and she's looking to get her makeup done. She asked who was doing mine, just out of curiosity I thought, thinking she would look for someone else.

She's only gone and messaged my make up artist and asked if she can do her aswell at the venue when she's doing the bridesmaids.

Sorry, AIBU or is this weird as F?! My makeup artist declined but I'm a bit miffed about it.

If the make up artist has time and the guest is paying for it there really isn’t a problem. But she needs to know that the wedding party and mainly the bride are the priority if she is running low on time!
I was asked to be a bridesmaid (one of 2) for my brother’s wedding…in a different country to where I lived… I asked my soon to be SIL if the wedding make up artist could do my make up also and I’d pay her myself no problem? I just didn’t have a car there or any idea where the nearest beauty salon would be and I would have had my 3 year old daughter with me. She said “No” which I accepted. Roll around the day and she had the other bridesmaid’s make up done and a couple of her mates… but I (as a bridesmaid) wasn’t offered etc so I did my own in a box room upstairs. THAT is weird and rude surely! Turns out after a couple of years that despite my best efforts to invite her out , hosting her hen do, birthday etc… she apparently just doesn’t like me. Hey ho…! She also prevented my brother from seeing me and our Mum for long periods via threats etc (Threatened to kill herself and their baby if he left the house)…
Maybe if there’s time just offer? But definitely don’t dwell on it and make it into something it probably isn’t. Enjoy your wedding!!

You’re obviously irritated by this persons actions, but if you can, just try to let it go.
it doesn’t really matter, the MUA said no.
concentrate on yourself, your partner, your chosen wedding party and the things you can control.
Happy wedding day for when it comes x
