Elon Musk and Racism

Inspired by the other long running thread. I keep reading that he tweets and retweets racist comments. Can anyone link any or all of them please? I see tweets over illegal immigration, as opposed to immigration, but not racist?

So instead of opinions please can people post the actual words used or retweeted? Or anything he said in interviews, word for word?

Thanks!

And the fact remains the tweet he was interacting with specifically talked about recruiting ethnic minorities and stated (incorrectly) that black people had lower IQs.

Can you post the whole interaction as I don't believe anything these days. Which tweets are you referring to? You said above it was an 'insinuation'.

You can’t find any tweets about him being racist because he is not.

I could write paragraphs and paragraphs on how the recent leaked court documents are absolutely sickening, the worst thing I have read ever.

There has been a massive scandal at work in the labour party mainly, in fact as a 17 year old I emailed my local south Asian decent labour MP about what I thought was an emerging trend and problem with young south Asian decent males harassing me and other women, this was in the midst of the scandal - I used to be harassed 3x a day doing my commute to and from work.

This included Asian men driving up in the pavement and physically blocking my path home, at 6pm, a few hundred feet from the police station, nothing was done about it, gangs upon gangs of young men who where taught white women are fair game just drove around town looking for any white girl to take advantage of.

I never got a response from the MP , thankfully he was disgraced in the expenses scandal.

IMO there does need to be a secondary inquiry- as I don’t believe the first was without bias.

I read those court documents and they are vile. The vibe I always had is that young white girls were lured into relationships with slightly older Pakistani men - I was oblivious to the fact they were passed around and violently raped and assaulted. Two went missing (possibly more) and never found. And yet we can’t say it’s cultural to treat women so badly as it’s racist. I now understand the strength of feeling in Rotherham about the Southport murders by another immigrant. Not condoning violence but I understand the emotions that must have been felt. And those who tweeted got jailed yet these girls in South Yorkshire were failed beyond belief. If anyone disagrees with what I’ve written and hasn’t read the court documents, please do so because I guarantee you will never forget what you read. Those girls were tortured and brutally raped. Those words sound too tame for what you’ll read. It’s beyond animalistic

Sorry is this a post from 2015?

did you not notice the pushback?

the one against progressive authoritarianism?

woke is dead. DEI is dead. The pendulum is swinging back to the right with. Very great vengeance.

if you want to know why musk is killing the woke mind virus. Watch his interview about losing his son.

the worlds most awesome autistic and richest man is not the sort to back down.

I think you need to go and a cold shower 😬

Well that's OK the, you don't think he's racist.

Is it also OK that he is an unelected person being allowed an incredible amount of power over world politics? It is OK that his history of communication suggest that, at best, he is pretty erratic and at worst....?

I'm not sure what it says about you that can't find any evidence of racism. The man posts in support of 'Tommy Robinson' FFS. Try harder.

Is it any different to eg special advisors etc in the UK?

You are being very unreasonable if you think that politics isn't 95% unelected influence anyway. Which is hilarious you're all bent out of shape over Elon now because I bet you bloody love the Open Society Foundation, UN, WHO, the EU and all the NGOs

kikisparks · 04/01/2025 08:52

He’s a liar. He went on Joe Rogan’s show and said the Democrat Party were flying in immigrants to vote for them. This is both entirely unevidenced, and impossible, as new immigrants have no right to vote. It creates an anti-immigrant rhetoric that he should know is dangerous. Whether he is racist or not he is comfortable fuelling racist agendas.

Reetpetitenot · 04/01/2025 08:56

He frequently reacts and responds to items later proved to be untrue. He doesn't check, just stokes the fires.

So do loads of people.

Even the White House has said he’s anti Semitic and racist

The criticism came after Musk claimed in a series of posts on X that efforts to diversify workforces at those companies have made air travel less safe. He offered no evidence for the claim, and one of his replies directed attention to a post by someone else speculating about the IQ of Black airline employees.

No idea how to link to specific tweets but have screen shot below where he calls UA and Boeing racist organisations (for saying they want to hire more ethnic minorities).

Yeah you said that. But you are assuming that he doesn't think black people have talent and don't need DEI to get jobs.

Which makes him not the racist one.

Honestly, think about what you are saying.

Not many of them own social media platforms and pay billions to influence the outcome of elections though.

Many, many countries try to influence the outcomes of elections of their own and other countries. If you don't like it, don't use X. Or don't buy a Tesla.

He wasn’t disagreeing with the tweet. If he was I’m sure he would be intelligent to have made that clear. You don’t retweet something to disagree with it without saying you disagree with it.

And it’s the overall actions/repeated l pattern of behaviour. The anti Semitic tweets, the hanging around with racist Trump. The tweets about Scotland where he was raging about Hamza “being racist”. It’s obvious what his opinion is.

you’re defending a racist. Honestly, think about what you are saying.

And trying to insinuate that I’m racist is not a good look. Especially when I’m not white!

Barbie222 · 04/01/2025 09:40

Sounds like Musk needs to educate himself about what racism actually is, looking at these examples. How embarrassing when your learning literally has to be done in front of the whole world!

I cannot see what your skin colour is through a screen.

And again, that is your inference not mine.

Care to explain then precisely what you meant! Yeah you said that. But you are assuming that he doesn't think black people have talent and don't need DEI to get jobs.

Honestly, think about what you are saying.

so who are you saying is the racist one. Not musk according to you, and seeing as you’re discussing my post it’s very obvious you meant me.

but you’re as bad as Musk with your weasel insinuations. Not brave enough to clearly say it, trying to leave enough wriggle room to back track and deny. I can see you for what you are though.

AlisonDonut · 04/01/2025 09:51

so who are you saying is the racist one. Not musk according to you, and seeing as you’re discussing my post it’s very obvious you meant me.

The person that took it and wrote an article about it that you keep posting.

I know nothing about you.

But yet you call me a weasel. Nice.

FeegleFrenzy · 04/01/2025 09:56

Yeah right, back track, back track, back track.

even if you did mean the writer of the article, you’re still defending a racist by accusing someone speaking out against racism of being racist.

the article quite clearly spoke about the original tweet (saying black people had lower IQs), spoke about how that was wrong and spoke about how Musk retweeted it. How on earth can you say the article writer is racist for that, doesn’t make sense (which is why I believe you meant me). The article writer didn’t infer or make assumptions about the IQ of black people, they were discussing a clear tweet.
