all generalisations are stupid.
Most are. Because when you compare two populations and say "LOOK it's like..." the populations turn out to be remarkably similar. The ones that always pop up are, "it's like saying Muslims are terrorists". Or "it's like saying Black people are criminal".
When you break those down, and look at who commits crimes and terrorist acts, and you correct for social group and demographics, it's clearly cobblers. People in those two groups are normally roughly the same. You take the kid who is radicalised, or the kid who is offending, you give them different influences, different upbringings, chances are they won't do the act.
But in every society, in every time, in every place, in every single spot on earth, men are much more dangerous and violent than women. Horribly, in pretty much every one, the most dangerous person is the woman's intimate male partner. Also for children, the most dangerous person in their life? Male family member.
There is no comparison between the male population and the female one. None. Women who sexually offend or kill are total outliers, statistical anomalies. Men who sexually offend are very very common. When you ask the right questions, in the right way, a very large proportion of men will admit that they would rape.
And Gisele proved it. Unconscious, no witness, men did it. Because they thought they wouldn't get caught.
Just as an aside, Gisele has also made many women much safer. Some of the convicted were also DV abusers and had offended before. She has probably saved lives.
