I love him to bits but fuck me hes outdone himself this afternoon

Went out to pub and had a lovely time. Came home to him bashing into thing and staggering about with a nice pile of sick in the middle of the only rug we have (why do they always do that) quickly rush him to the vet who asks what he ate. He ate bread dough and vommed it all back up. The yeast was fermenting in his stomach and he was effectively drunk.

They could feel something in his tummy so he was sedated and x rayed. He had coins in his intestine and a Lego action man. So he's had emergency surgery today and has cost me &
£1600. He'd eaten 27p in coins fuck knows how or when!

How old is the dog you ask? 17 years old no shits given.

He also chewed off the vets shoe lace when he was brought back to me as the vet was telling me what he had removed from his stomach. He didn't swallow that thank God.

Baby Simon. Adorable! Not quite sure how you saw that cutely and thought ‘Simon’ would be a good name! Although beats the hundreds of Teddies, Milo’s, Lunas, etc that are out there (for human and furry babies).

21 months old Labrador husband is finally researching a cage for at night and when we're out. It's his dog so I'm called a nag when she eats something of mine because he leaves doors open. I've lost six pairs of shoes, UGG boots, UGG slippers.

He's lost three pairs of trainers, one pair of Chelsea boots.

The house has lost 12 cushions, one £1k rug, bathroom rugs, towels.

The clincher was sons walking boots, which he replaced yesterday.

We can't lock her in the kitchen at night because she eats, skirtings, door frames, bar stools.

So a cage it will be.

This is our third Labrador and by far the worst.

Love the puppy pic! I wish we could have seen Mab as a puppy but we rescued him when he was about 1....I've never seen a Cardigan corgi puppy in real life. He gets his stitches out on Monday, thankfully, so he can zoom around again. Usually he loves other dogs, but being on the lead whilst other dogs are off makes him nervous and defensive, particularly when people just let their dogs run up and bark.🙄Normally he'd gladly play, but not when he's on the lead and they are free.
