Both parents were adopted, from babies I understand, so weren’t brought up in care.

Not sure as a family they are net contributors, especially as elder children are now having numerous children.

There doesn’t seem to be much motivation in the older children to have a meaningful career. The boys seem to lay in bed or sit around and play games. The Dad seems handy at DIY and has done a lot to the home in the past, building beds etc, but the boys seem incapable of simple DIY or looking after themselves. They don’t seem to have any hobbies, play instruments etc. They can’t have much one to one time with their parents. One girl went to uni, briefly, and now works in the pie shop. One of the boys joined the RAF and lasted five minutes. Another girl seems to be taking after her mother and has already produced three babies. They do go on an amazing amount of holidays, and also get freebies. They have a motor home too, and lots of dogs. The frequent birthdays mean massive piles of presents, and Christmas is a present opening marathon.
What started out as a document about a struggling, large family and how they coped with everyday life, is now like a bragging fest, a publicity seeking contrived soap opera.
I’ve watched them from the very beginning, and wonder if the bubble will burst when people tire of it all.

All children generally become taxpayers.... think of it as 2 people have created 22 future taxpayers who will work, pay tax so you can draw your pension.

Except most are not taxpayers. All the older children are on benefits of some kind and in social housing. Now times that by 21 and I call that a burden on society.

Because that’s what makes them breeders. It’s totally irresponsible and unnecessary to have that many children, it does not benefit society, the children have gone on to be as useless as the parents. “Because I want to” is not a good reason for people to engage in this sort of behaviour.
The biggest joke is the pie shop. As IF that brings in the 6k or so a month that you’d need to adequately feed, house and clothe a family of that size. And if they were so loaded then their oldest kids wouldn’t be on benefits.

Do you not think the television & social media companies have a responsibility to protect children unable to give consent from people willing to throw away their right to privacy?
